  1. BoltBait, Thanks so much for the detailed explanation. Following the details it worked exactly as you said. Only one last thing... The color I am selecting is a funky looking material called Lycra. When I place the color selection on the palette I only get a pastel, when it is actually a sparkly color. I am thinking I must put a layer behind or something... Thanks again..
  2. Down, Thanks for the reply.. I have read that like a zillion times and can't get it to add the color to the palette. I have tried "The first one adds the current color to the palette, Click on the button, and then click on the palette to place the color" no results Also tried selecting the area of color first. EDIT: I know I am missing something so obvious..
  3. Please excuse me if this is a dumb question but after searching I cant seem to find out. Can I add custom colors to the pallet? I would like to have some cool colors to recolor a car or clothing etc... Thanks in advance.
  4. lillinh, Thanks for the reply. Now that I have it.. Anybody know how to select only part of a pic. I want to change the uniforms colors of one player in same pic wearing the same uniform as another. In other words.. two players same uniform I want to change color of only one uniform.
  5. I cant seem to find it but I would like to try that plug in ... I am trying to change colors on a uniform.
  6. What I meant by conical was the view you get when you drag the conical tool over a transparent. I.E. a pointy tent like shape in conical or a diamond shape in diamond. I think I was (mumbling..over gradienting) if there is such a thing. I continued to try and by moving the points a tiny amount and was able to get a view of my project. In other words I over applied the gradient tool. This is a fantastic program and I can't believe it is available for my use. Thanks for your help
  7. I know you get this a bizillion times but... I can't figure out how to view my picture after using the gradient tool transparent mode I open it in a couple of programs and the conical view appears.. I have read http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/GradientTool.html I'm missing the big picture here
