  1. becauseiwantedto: I like the third one from the top, it looks like neon light, it's nice! Nothing special here, just a Smudge tree: Miao
  2. Great Oma! Love the garden, flowers, trees, texture, the sky, the bunny and his ears with that inside pinkish are lovely just like a peluche! I think you should work a little bit more on the bunny cheeks and nose, may be a little more big the nose and just a little more protruding cheeks? Just my opinion, Tschüss!
  3. I have been around here and there, mostly here but also with some quick raids there, including your home country (Great Germany! I wish they will invade my Country, wanna send a letter to Angela Merkel to persuade her to do so) from where I came back with a "rich" german vocabulary which includes: Glühwein, weihnachtsmarkt, prost, eine Bretzeln bitte! p.s. I can see two more little faces in your sig, but I probably need new glasses! I love the rabbit, could be part of a tale like The Bremen town musicians Tschüss!
  4. Hi Oma, Just dropping by after a while to tell you I saw your latest artwork in the Galleria: It is just beautiful !( read it in block capital letters) Miao
  5. Yellowman: I just love it! Madjik Astonishing! Don't dare to ask how you did that cause I fear it will be too complicated for my skills  Miao
  6. Hi Helen, It ‘s been a while since I did not drop by in the forum but that does not mean I did not get a look from time to time. Your gallery rocks! I can believe it was a lot of work to make the cottage: the result is incredible and perfect in each detail! Here are my fav: Wallpapers: Metamorphosis Graphics: Believe and of course the lizard/gecko which totally deserves its place in the galleria, colors are so brilliant it seems made of shiny water bubbles or some swarovski crystals and the reflection on the dark surface is perfect! I find that octopus funny too and love that page 1 of your never published (never say never..) book “the forest”, come on go ahead with the story! That smart mouse carrying his cheese is funny and the teddy bear is so sweet! Glossies: cat’s paws (of course I love cats) the glossy hearts globe and the hearts. What else can I say, do love your artworks, keep going! Miao
  7. becauseiwantedto: Thanks a lot, and Welshblue : I am so glad to see you too (gave a quick look to your gallery (wow): I do love your colors and many of the abstracts and realistic pieces are just great! Miao
  8. Thanks a lot Helen, missed you all too! Ciao
  9. Just dropping by to say hello to all the forum ,the new ones and the elderly , (Madjik: Wow) and to add my little messing up titled "It wanted to be glass..." Miao,
  10. All really lovely nice images in these pages, to another beautiful year with all the paint.net Forum, Happy New Year to all of You paintdotnetters!
  11. @PeterPawn: Agree with JanettSue, it's even more beautiful than the dragon and do not know if you noticed but if you quickly scroll up and down on the larger version it gives the impression of light changing/moving
  12. @welshblue : the second "10 minute attempt" is really close to real wood knots! @ShK_828: funny pacman! @worldnewser: Like your planets, you planet creator! A simple one: Ciao editing to add a work in progress, what do you think? Once completed I would like to make an animated gif from that:
  13. @Oma: More and more like crystal! @JanettSue: Wonderful and silky: looks like a close up with a microscope @PeterPawn: Love the fire dragon and the sig @jinXed: The bird abstract is lovely!

Glad you are back! I love the 3d shaped prisma (just like Oma, at first sight I thought it was a crystal flower) and I like a lot the top right gem in your last post, it looks like citrine or smoke quartz (a guess :?: : Is it a derivation from the burning wood image?) Ciao
  15. thanks! Yeah I know about reflections, gonna remake them all soon and now my happy dance  Ciao!
  16. Yes, all the reflections need to be redone and I think the table too, but the flowers look nice and yes the second image is a crappy bloody potato but the bronze color and threads look all right (i.m.o. ) Why did I not wait until I refined it before posting? I don't know, it is a while I do no post anything and I was starting to suffer from withdrawal symptoms Ciao!
  17. @JanettSue, The girl in the yellow shantung dress is just lovely and I do not think the fairy queen is too thin, fairy tales characters not necessarily have to match real life proportions. Do go ahead with the x-mas image, the two elves are lovely (there's just something wrong with the mouth of the one on the right, but I do not think that will be a great problem to solve, may be forget about the bells and go on with the rest of the image, concentrating all the light above the two subjects and diminishing it on the rest... well, that is just my guess) Good jobs! (but you did not tell me how you did those lovely feather wings ... ) @jedi12 It looks lovely it has depth and very nice use of tile reflection! @worldnewser The crumpled paper needs some more work i.m.o. but I think you are in the right direction, keep up! @LFC4EVER Your glass die looks nice, I think it just needs some more light/glow to be terrific! Ciao
  18. @welshblue Love the acid green/yellow colors of your image! @PeterPawn Thanks for the tip I will follow it when I will finally dare () to download Apophysis.. I wanted to add this editing my previous post but I see there is a new page already, I tried to follow your tips LFC4EVER, but as usual I got lost between the many options offered by the layers blending modes (and the more they are the most difficult is to choose the best option, do not know if this happens only to me) anyhow I think I've improved it a bit it is more shiny and glowing, but I did not go any farther in following the flow of the lines Ciao
  19. @LFC4EVER Got what you mean, many thanks for the tip, gonna rework on it adding some more motion blur at a different angle. Nice storm! @janettsue Thanks, but it is nothing special, just a playing around and messing with layers and seismograph @ShK_828 Playing around with splatter anyone? @PeterPawn That looks gorgeous! Love the moon, any time I see these wonderful fractals I am tempted to download Apophysis but I fear it will be an other difficult stuff to learn... The caterpillar looks fine but I would add some more depth to it (may be an other drop shadow moved upwards with a lot of blur and glow?) looks fantastic anyhow. Ciao!
  20. Think he might have used Tube Oblique Ciao,
  21. Definitely lovely! (How did you get that feather effect?) but leave her the red dress on! Ciao
  22. @JanettSue I think she is wonderful, especially her face, hair and dress! May be you should work a bit more on her wigs but I love it anyhow, Ciao!
  23. @Oma That's where your tips brought me into so far (but I am not quite sure I understood them correctly)... Ciao
  24. Love it! Just love that central one (wanna know how you made it ), bottom leaves and bottom left ones, and the plant on the right (it was easier if I just said I love them all but the purple ones which I like a little less ) Don't know if it the wall is intentionally like that, otherwise I think if you wanna make a regular one and show the sky beneath just enlarge the canvas size, I love it anyhow (and do not forget to give tips on how you made that ivy (is it :?: ) Ciao Ciao
