  1. Yes I do, I can't live without smudge and curves plus, what can I do? I reloaded the ddl twice, but each time I try to use smudge or curves plus pdn crashes. (Fountain pouring tears)

(Besides here are the plug-ins load errors)

  2. @Nemo: How did you get that astonishing result with the rose? The color, texture and shape of petals are iperrealistic: Impressive!

@Yellowman: Wov that fence! I swear when I tapped my finger on it it returned a metallic sound! :)

@Welshblue: Love that quick 5 minute play with wood texture!

    Thanks @LJXD and

    @Possum Roadkill: You are a real web-master ! :wink:

There is a lot of creativity and imagination there, it is a Beautiful image, and the door is the access to other universes where those amazing red spiders enjoy themselves playing soccer with planets? :) It could be a cover for a sci-fi magazines!

    Ciao

  3. @Nemo: I love that eye,it looks pretty realistic, hope to see soon the final result!

This is part of a large poster I am up to, which will be called.... guess what? Apples. With lots of different chromatic effects and a touch of appleish comic...

This one is called "Da Big Apple".

    th_thebigappleversione2.png

    Enjoy the week end,

    Ciao :)

  4. @Welshblue: lovely and fresh image and smart idea, love your images is nice to see them again!

@Ace9star9: I can see a nice flower coming from that! :D I would start adding some dents at very low values

I have a craze for smudge lately, this is a first sketch about something that could end up like a sort of Hyeronimus Topezia's Inferno or just like an other mess

  5. You never end to amaze me, wonderful glass skull!...an other guess: the skull of a grinning old man who wore dentures? (that's why he has no teeth) ;).

    Ciao

  6. @Possum Roadkill :Are water birds thirsty of water? (free quote from P.K. Dick: Do androids dream of electric sheep?) :)

What kind of background would you suggest for the bluegrass instruments?

That's your image, the background is nice though may divert the attention from the main subject (guitars) so may be just a little blur will do. If it was my image I might have tried a sort of '60s psychedelic album cover, of course not using too much or too bright colors.

    Nice job! Ciao

@yy10: seems one of the stone figures of the Easter Island, like the ink sketch smudged effect

@RHoward : Really well done and Oma from that cappuccino cup's stain that looks like my desk too ;)

@007 Nab : It's nice to see you again, welcome to the club of the smudgers it's so fascinating and powerful tool yet so frustrating sometimes ;)

    Ciao

  7. @A Fleeting Glimpse: Being a member of the club of the crazy diamonds  I had to add a comment:

Beautiful interpretation! Thorgenson would agree with that, not one of my fav covers though. I would only add something to smooth a bit the the bottom of the hills (may be a soften portrait)

    Shine on! :)

  8. @ LFC4EVER : Thanks ,nice to see you!

@Possum Roadkill : Love the image of the guitars, agree they need a different background to better stand out

@Hi Helen :) thanks, but I am always so frustrated when it comes to human figures actually the only thing I like is her face, her arm is out of proportion and need to work on hand and feet and many other details, may be next time I'll try I am going to use separate layers for each part of the body

    @Sharp: Lovely planet

    Ciao

  9. Hey Ash, I've tried the mini tut of the tapered line, it is really easy! (once you know how to do it it, of course)

    Gee-nius!

This is the genius peculiarity I think, to obtain the best results in the easiest way or saying in other words drawing the shortest line between two points.

I made an attempt at it but I don' know where the mini tut thread is (if it's on Deviant Art I don't have an account there :) )

    Ciao

  10. Escapist angel: the thumbnail of the rose is lovely.

Welshblue and Yellowman thanks and Welsh so glad to see you too! (going to see your wonders soon). The animation was a joke while I am still working on the cat image but I got so frustrated cause due to my stupid error I had to delete the last frame (cat's eye fully opened) I tried to resize all the frames but no way last image kept bumping

    Ciao see you soon!

  11. Ash finally back and I finally found some time to give a look in your gallery:

 The glass gas mask is awesome and it looks super awesome at full size! Could be used in a sci.fi movie!

And I am sure those super sharp tapered lines are going to evolve in some other wonder one of these days.... (a super hedgehog? )

    Ciao :)

  12. I have been away so long I nearly forgot my password. Beautiful flower Oma I can smell it! Just a quick drop in to wish you all a beautiful summer... While I am working on this cat which is still a w.i.p., I took a little time for a quick animation just for fun. Happy summertime to you all, it's nice to be here :D

    Ciao

Ash you're back in the forum! (happy happy happy) yeah, something got wrong with the last frame (inadvertently (goofy as I am) must have moved that frame of 1 pixel , so I had to cut it out
Oma thanks, I'll drop by more often, promised! ;)

  13. Yellowman ,Becauseiwantedto & Welshblue: Thanks

And Yellowman: great work and BecauseIwantedto : You’ ve hitten the nail on the head!: that’s exactly what it reminds me either!

Madjik: Are you on the way to become a cyber-spatialist? Lovely work!

MeowMeow: Love those transparent colored rings around your planet

    Miao!
