  1. Is the paint.net installer posted anywhere on github or is it only via the dotpdn.com/downloads address
  2. I don't think winget would stop that. also its not free on the store I think also it makes it easier for IT departments to script it into new builds also it does do automatic updates
  3. 1) its not my software and I didn't want to be rude 2)I wouldn't want to create and submit a new package for each build 2a) if it was built into there build workflow it wouldn't be that much more effort
  4. Please add Paint.net to the available packages for Windows package manager "Winget" I think this would be a great integration for the software its like ninite with even less steps
  5. I would prefer to work in C# but i can do vb.net too I looked around for a few minutes and i haven't found anything on how to make them . Is there a template or something i could use in vs2005 to help me along?
  6. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a project i have for work (vb.net or c# I can do either) I want to import a file into a pictrebox and then draw a a crop around an area i need and then export that cropped image to a new directory. I know that paint.net doesn't have much in the way of scripting so im writing it myself so far i can import the photo but im having trouble with the drawing part because it seems that rectangle that i draw is relative to the picturebox and not the photo ( if i set the option to "zoom" mode) also im not sure how to trigger a rectangle on a mouse coronate clicks or drags right now im pretty confused so any direction you can point me would be very helpful.
  7. Hi all I have used paint.net for a while but nothing more than crops and what not. Recently my boss came to me asking if i knew of a free alternative to adobe PS that we could use. We dont want to use pant.net for anything exotic we just have some actions that ask you do do some crops and apply a few filters ( like a mild blur) so very very basic color correction then save each crop version as a file to a network location filenamex.jpg <-- orginal filename-rect.jpg <--rectangle crop filename-head.jpg <--- head shot I know it could all pretty much be done manually but i want a macro or a button or something to just do and prompt them for the crops Any ideas how i could get this done ( i do know a little bit of vb.net and c#.net)
