  1. Rick, i am in Process Explorer while the error dialog is up, but i cant find where to look for the command-line it was given og what the parents process is.
  2. Yes i did, but the only thing it said, was that there was no similar error in their database.
  3. I found something in the event log, but im not sure it is that. But im gonna post it anyhow. System - Provider [ Name] Desktop Window Manager - EventID 9013 [ Qualifiers] 16384 Level 4
  4. Ghost Ranger: I downloaded it from this site, so unless there is malware in your edition, i dont think so... Yes i did - didnt help Nope nothing... Nothing new installed beside Paint.Net I don't get any error code at all (not in the error box) The odd thing is, that i cant find the error - but its probably just me that cant find it - im sure it is somewhere. But i will try and look again. Thank you for trying to help...
  5. Im not an idiot either... Just because almost everybody says something, it doesnt have to be true. But i dont really care anymore - Ubuntu + GIMP = LUV!
  6. Well, the error doesn't just come on startup. If i even up a game or something, it sometimes comes with the error again. About the session: The only thing i did in the whole session was install Paint.NET - so it is this simple: I booted (no probs) I installed Paint.NET I rebooted (now we got probs) So basically this is very much a Paint.NET related problem of some sort. But if you guys can't help me, so be it. I have installed Ubuntu anyway and now uses The Gimp.
  7. HITMAN-X- Vista has the framework built in from the beginning, so thats not the problem. To the rest of you, As i said earlier I didn't have the problem before the install, but just after the install i got the error. I can't find the errors in the log (too long) so i can give you anymore details. I dont know if is directly caused by Paint.Net but it did it indirectly, for sure...
  8. I got some of the programs you mentioned, but the problem only occured AFTER the install of Paint.Net - untill then, i got the other programs installed with no probs. So i am pretty sure that's what is causing it. I didn't even do a windows update before the install, so not that either.
  9. Hey Trying to post this again, since you dont like censored swearing in the title... I just wanted to try out paint.net and i downloaded it and installed it. After a reboot, i got a system-error. After that i tried rebooting again with same result. So I uninstalled Paint.Net but still got the probs. The only thing i installed before the error, was paint.net BTW im using Vista. Any help?
