Hard Stone; Crumpled Paper; Burning Coals + Planet Texture!
indie88 replied to indie88's topic in Tutorial Graveyard
Huh, that actually looks pretty good! Especially the ower blocks Comments, anyone else? Mega-edit: Just realised you don't need 5 seperate cloud layers with 'difference blending', just use "Difference" on Blend Mode in the settings as you Render > Clouds! -
This tutorial is extremely simple and can be used as a starting point for many many things including: [*:zv431f0e] Hard Stone Texture [*:zv431f0e] Realistic Crumpled Paper Texture [*:zv431f0e] Burning Coals [*:zv431f0e] Planet Textures All of these require the basic 'Clouds' plugin. #1 Smooth (Chalk) Stone/Realistic Paper [*:zv431f0e] Open a new Image (Size is up to you) [*:zv431f0e] Effects > Render > Clouds (Default Values) [*:zv431f0e] New Layer --> Render Clouds [*:zv431f0e] Change this layer's Blending Mode to "Difference" [*:zv431f0e] Add 4 or 5 layers total with Clou

Work - I work as Chief Demonstrator at Debenhams (I.E. I play with Toys at the weekend all day and major sale days, but non major days i have to set EVERYTHING on the Christmas Gift Department up. Sorta' the main man after my supervisor It's really helped my development, been pretty intense as far as retail goes... Christmas... ) Play - Spend "Quality time" with my girlfriend () and ACTUAL quality time with my girlfriend (lol), go out with my mates (mostly female, but there's a couple of lads in there too), get drunk, dance around, be a bit of a whore (in a completely non-whorish way ), Uhm

7/10. I think the bubble and PdN symbol looks too grainy. -

I definately think we SHOULDN'T have it as abstract, or as an astract theme in the slightest. I want boundries, damnit! -

Did you even do anything to that picture? Or did you just write your name on it and add a logo? It's not a terrible sig... but it doesn't seem like you put a lot of effort into it.. -

Looks to me like it's saved in a low quality (like mine isn't, lol) About a 6/10, probably 7.5 if it looked a higher quality format. On the flipside, however, the blue part of your sig looks so good that it looks like it's moving! (Maybe I'm just tired... lol) -

8/10 Your works have inspired me to root out Chaoscape and Terragen on the internet, to be used soon! -

Damn. Spent so long concentrating on the second line, i didn't even notice that. Will change it tomorrow. (I say tomorrow.. I'm working or travelling for 42 hours out of these 4 days (today - friday)) EDIT: Lol, I edited it straight away anyway. It possibly seems a bit more "Deep" now anyway -

Much better now. 7/10 I can't decide about mine now. Looks really amateurish. The Haiku is my own, and the Oil Painting is also mine. Can't really see the detail this far out. Full version is on my dA. Please don't rate too lowly lol -
I know i should be using serach, but i'm in a rush, and the search here is the most useless thing i've ever encountered. Can someone provide me with links to the above, and suggest any other "Advanced" sort of things?

9/10 IF you make the left hand side bar look as good as the right hand side bar. -
Is "The Sarah Jane Adventures" any good? New series of doctor who soon, surely!

Its really good once you get a little network of friends and or watchers they freqantly come over to mine and comment and leave suggestions and I do the same I was looking at yours earlier, i like them if i remember rightly. Mine's now in my sig. Got 2 favourites for exploding planet That sort of thing could make me do more images

5/10 Quality seems low. And haven't seen you do a new one in a while.
