The reason I was asking was that if I'm doing some mockups of specs which have specific pixel widths and heights for objects, it's much easier to do if I can specify a selection rect through cords instead of using a wand or selection rect tool and watching where the cursor is. Thanks for the tip! Is it possible for plugins to interact with the selection rectangle itself? So a plugin might be created to add what I was saying: Choose it via coords instead of using the GUI.

Is it possible to modify the selection area? Like in Paintshop Pro you can expand\contract it by x pixels. Or you can actually set from X,X pixel to X,X pixel -> select and it creates the rect for you.
