please could someone explain to me (if its possible) how to alter or remove text i have added to a photo using paint.net i have added it with paint.net and im not happy with its position and colour but i only have this copy of the photo now?

omg! what is wrong with me, that wont work either. the problem is (i think) that regardless which layer i highlight the face inside the eclipse is the only thing changing. tell me... once i have the 2 layers (one is original photo and other is the white/grey chess board effect with just her face on) and i choose the one not highlighted blue which you say is the bottom one (main photo) then should the girls face still have a matrix of points around her face in the main photo (layer 1)?

once i press ctrl/shift and v to get new later with just the face on, what do i need to do, because if i goto reduce brightness etc it only darkens the face i want to be lighter, it wont touch the rest of the photo

couldnt get it to work sorry. i cannot post the picture as its of children (minors) and i dont have parental permission forms back yet. when i said to highlight one person i think i made it sound like i wanted to highlight their whole body, i am only really interested in highlighting head/face. cant i just make a cirlce around them and do some adjustments to the contrast etc of the rest of the picture? please could someone talk me thru it?

hi, i found the tutorial but i think the tutorial is aimed more so at ppl who can already use paint but just dont know the process to do this, im a complete beginner and dont understand how to get the line to go round the image. i presume the "nubs" mentioned are the little dots that appear, at which point you can pull/push the line etc. what i dont know how to do is the get these nubs in the places i want them. they seem to just appear where they want :?

im not sure what its called so i cant find anything with the search button sorry... i have some photos and i want to make one person a lot more prominent than the others, or doing it the other way i want to make everyone else less prominent like on the telly when they show a group photo but the story is about the one person, they seem to make him/her a lot more obvious

thanks Bob i have spent ages looking on that font site already but cannot find the types i need, do yu know of a certain font? i downloaded and installed about a dozen but none are what im after

thanks for all the pointers guys n gals its taken me about 2 hours :oops: but i now have a big blue gel button. (first thing i have made with paint.net (and any other program if the truth be known!!) right another question i have is where can i get some nice and simple pics to add to the buttons, in the gel tut there is a guy with a white ambulance on a blue button. where would i need to look to find some fonts or pics like that, HOME, TELEPHONE, LINKS etc etc

hi i help run a girls football club in the uk, i have just had a website made but its a little basic. i have looked at several web buttons tutorials on here but i was hoping to make some football related buttons. the only problem is i dont know where to start :oops: so i have a couple of questions.. 1. does anyone know of either already made ones or a tut to make some 2. does anyone fancy making some or writing a tut that i could follow (im a complete beginner, and i do mean beginner) thanks for reading everyone
