The Pictorium. A new Forum?
Paint Boy replied to Aakanaar's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
I see what your saying, but Rick is totally against this idea. @Ash - No but Rick did* Remember he said the dA is 1000x times better? *=technically -

That should have been the end of this topic, Done, Over, Finished. OK, now lock the pictorium if it so "sucky". -
The Pictorium. A new Forum?
Paint Boy replied to Aakanaar's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Source: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=3377 Would it be clearer if I closed this thread? Can someone help me get to page 200? >_> Exactly! It's a great idea I don't see whats wrong with it. It was done in these forums: http://pdnfans.freeforums.org/index.php That doesn't clear anything up. Look everyone says it's a great idea. In the poll Yes was like 90%. I don't get whats.... Never mind I should shut up before I my rear kicked out of these forums. EDIT: I have a question. If Rick says this "Here is your pictorium: http://www.deviantart.com I don't see any reason to create a special forum section for it here. dA is going to be 1,000x better at this than a phpBB forum. Just make an account there and add a link in your sig." Then why does he even have a pictorium thread? -

Wild Idea: Modify the Forum Banner Image
Paint Boy replied to usedHONDA's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
I think it should be PNG format and he should you capitals (e.g. Paint.NET instead of paint.net) I think the logo on the banner could use a little fixing up. Something similarar to this: Of course far different from mine mine stinks. -
Monthly Skinning Competition Discussion -- #4 ended
Paint Boy replied to Helio's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Well maybe you could make it more complicated. Like you have to add the regular google.com, then an IG (With the clock and calendar) search results for paint.NET (Strict safe search) then image and video and news results, cached version of a page, I hope you get the point. -
The Pictorium. A new Forum?
Paint Boy replied to Aakanaar's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
I really think this would be a great change. This way I wouldn't have to scroll though 70 pages to find on of my old creations. This way it would be easier for people to leave comments. Less likely to get random spam. [Off-topic]And... It's Gene Simmons birthday! Whoo hoo Happy b-day. [/off-topic] Anyways. I don't see anything wrong with it. I also think you should add the FAQ and possibly the popular feature request to the Paint.BET Info forum group. -
What I usually do is create text in a new layer select the text cut it and then right click.

I think this is a great idea but if Rick is against I guess we can't do it -
When will the new brush be written? This happens for me to. It kinda looks like a tube ^_^ Does it happen with 3.08? Uhm what you could do is brush on a transparent layer and have the background on a different layer and use the transparency plugin on the brush layer. (Use anti-anti-anitialise [sorry about the spelling if it's wrong] off)

Conditional Hue/Saturation Effect Available
Paint Boy replied to evanolds's topic in Plugins - Publishing ONLY!
This is just a suggestion for the creator of this. Could you make a "conditional black and white" or something like that? You know you just select what hue range you want then you can turn it black and white and you can adjust the saturation on it, etc. -
Paint.NET v3.10 is now available
Paint Boy replied to Rick Brewster's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Hey.... Rick you should replace Frosted Glass with Pyrochild's Frosted Glass+. (Why?) It is much faster (In one test it was 125 times faster) and it goes up to 100 instead of 10. 100 (On +) is faster then 10 (with regular). -
Edit: I love the new update! You should add a similar update to Gadient Bars I have a suggestion. I think the Wrap should be on the left instead of the right.

Paint Boy replied to Rick Brewster's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Whoo-hoo! Downloading. Thank you -
I'm no pro, Use the how to cut out images tut 9i'll give oyu link in a bit) and select the inside of the car. Crate a new layer and put it to the bottom. Select the inside of the car again go to the bottom layer and fill it with black. Go to the actual car layer and lower the opacity. Now sure how else to do it, I'll try to find other ways. EDIT: Is this good or too dark in some spots?

Planets with rings (i.e. how to create a Saturn)
Paint Boy replied to jsonchiu's topic in Tutorial Graveyard
Amazing tutorial! I suggest merging the rings and planet before adding curves unless you want different colors.
