Let me start off by saying it is good to be back. Some of you might remember me from back in the day. Some of you might not. I have been busy over these last few years. Including a deployment to Iraq and some personal issues. I am back playing in the Graphic art's field.
Although I have made the jump to Photoshop over the last 2 years or so. I still use PDN in a big way. I still use it for editing blending and other effects. Since I am still far more comfortable with the lay out in Pdn. I still recommend it to this day. Since Paint.net was the program that allowed me to start working beyond paint and spark my interest in Graphic Arts. Everything you see below PDN had a huge hand in. Some other programs I have used. (Most that are free even.) Include:
Vue 9 pioneer
Apophysis
Chaoscope
Terragen
Xara 3d(Paid)
Inkscape
CS3 and CS5(Paid)
Blender
As I said, even though I have used Photoshop in a big way as of late. Pdn still plays a big part in everything I do. For that I will always be great full to the Paint.net crew. If you have any questions on how things were done. Feel free to ask. I will help you in any way I can. Keep in mind that some of the Art below was done several years ago. So I might not remember the exact effects and values that were used. I do still have the working files however and can figure it out again. I will put a link to the enlarged version under each pic. If you wish to avoid clicking on each link. You can just click on the link under my sig. To my Devaint art account. Thank you for looking and hope you enjoy.

I could not do the background where do I download reflect
-
Here is my attempt at it. Sorry If it comes close to your layout buzzkill but it was so good.
-
May I ask if the sunken ship in the underwater picture is done with pdn. If it was can you make a tut on it. I just have to say again that your work is the best I have seen by far. Only can say WOW!
peorge
Everything in that pic was done in PDN but the ship. The Ship I used was a stock pic of a rusted ship in a graveyard. The rest of it is really a compilation of of tuts in pdn. If you want Because I do not have the time right this second. (got to get ready for work). I can post the links I used a a base for the pic. If I remember right it is a lot of zoom blur dents and layers used to create the water. Anyway I can dive more into it later.

Good job very realistic hands. Awesome job. Great indeed
Programs used 90% Paint.net , The fractals were done in Apophysis
-
I'm not sure what you are getting at.
-
Then it is bloody potato and I will ask a mod to lock this thread. To make matters worse you did not need to be so unpolite about it. Son have some respect next time you are addressing someone and maybe you will get better results.

Since their has been a great demand to upload pics here are a few.
All picture are edited in Paint.net in some way. Pdn did the major edits.
Other programs used Apophysis. Charoscope, Terragen.
Let me know what you think.
Some more Sigs.

a quick way to try is use the majic want tool select what you want colord changed to black and white lighten a bit if needed. Use that same selection that you just made with the majic wand new layer fill with color that you choose and set to everlay you can see some examples of this method in my devient account
-
Just wanted to see what you guys think
The land is in Terragen but everything else is PDN
