  1. Thanks, I hadn't thought of that, but was personally looking at Visio for it's UML modeling for software design anyway. Wondering if it's worth the purchase as this is a tertiary project for me, and there would no doubt be an integration learning curve. Thought someone would have a source for these types of graphics considering logistics operations are prolific.
  2. "... I'm looking for scaled graphics for these items that I can use with Excel ..." - graphics that represent business objects, talking trailers and skids here. It would be helpful if they were scaled to the standards.
  3. Hello: I am using MS Excel to do Log planning. I can use cells and borders to represent floor space, and truck docking spaces. Standard skids are 40"x48" and trailer sizes are also standard at 28', 32' 48', 53'. So I'm looking for scaled graphics for these items that I can use with Excel; that is, relatively tiny (for the cells) but identifiable. I was thinking a font might work if it were well done. The graphics will be used with formulas, so that a truck or skid will slide into a dock or floor space cell (respectively) on results of computations. I suppose the same type of specialized font or graphics set could be used for airport passengers and planes, or trailer load planning with packages. The idea is to put the graphics to work. Links to completed works would be appreciated.
