  1. Uh... Okay. I just meant to say I don't keep up with all the plug-ins that are made... No need to be a jerk.
  2. I kind of think the two scribbler programs are almost too complicated. The first one seems to be based more on the process of watching a drawing unfold, and the second one almost has too many settings. All you would really need are brush thickness, and then the "scribbliness" setting of the first scribbler. Transparency and color could be chosen with the color picker. In fact maybe the plug-in could just be somehow tied into the "Paintbrush" in paint.net, with a "scribbliness" setting for the effect. Because it's that effect that is the goal here. Besides, anything more complicated wouldn't seem to fit well with the ease and simplicity of paint.net.
  3. Either that or really busy. Like I said in that other thread, I'm not really expecting this plug-in to actually get made, but it would be pretty cool if it did. Maybe it could be done in collaboration with one, or both, of the people who made those flash based ones??? Considering the copyright, some form of contact with the original creator would be necessary... In fact... My guess is they've been contacted before about integration into other programs... But who knows, maybe the original creator would be up for the idea of a paint.net plug-in.
  4. A plug-in request... If anyone has the time and the know how... Something like this would make for a great paint.net plug-in: http://www.zefrank.com/scribbler/ or this (an offshoot of ^): http://www.zefrank.com/scribbler/scribblertoo/ I requested this a few years ago (link) and as far as I know nothing has been done so far... I think it'd be a pretty awesome addition to an already great program.
  5. Dusting off this very old thread... The original version of the scribbler: LINK Now has a spin off: scribbler too Something like either of these would make for a great plug-in, for a great program. You know it's true.
  6. Yeah, I wasn't really expected someone to jump in and whip it out in like a week. In fact, I wasn't really expecting anyone to even express interest at all. So this has... Exceeded my expectations! To actually have this plug-in made?! Goodness. I wish I could help or contribute, but I know next to nothing about programming. Plus my "To do" list is pretty crowded too.
  7. That would be downright phenomenal if you, or anyone for that matter, did that. 8) The thing is, drawing with your mouse isn't the easiest thing to do (though yes, I know there are other input devices), plus there's no undo or erase on that one.
  8. LINK: http://www.zefrank.com/scribbler/ Or is there already something similar? You can get some cool looking stuff, but it would be really cool to be able to import images. Though I realize it reacts to lines... So maybe it could be done by importing an image, starting a new layer to trace a line drawing over the imported image, and then having the plug-in work on that new layer. Anyways, if any coders are looking for a project... By all means.
