Why does Paint.NET take forever to load my Font List? I think maybe it's because it loads the Font, then creates an example of what the font looks like, right? Is there a way to speed it up? Thanks

Ok I've read the tutorial. But it doesn't say where to click! Where do I create a black on white layer? What the hell is a layer? :oops:
