Oh I'm so sorry i didn't see that tutorial. Thank you very much for the help.

I'm kind of embarrassed to ask this but I'm having trouble copying and pasting things to paint.net that are every irregular shapes. I guess what I'm looking for is something like on MS paint where you can use white as a transparent background, so if out cut a chunk out the white will not show up on the layers beneath it.
