@wafflePaint: Nice planet, I like the texture, though I am assuming it's a manipulated stock. You should link to images directly when using a host such as Imageshack, like this: That way people can see your image by itself, instead of with all the banners and other junk. Again, very nice piece!

Smart, that way you avoid any AA issues. However, with the Line tool you can draw an irregular line that isn't necessarily arched like an ellipse.

That's done using the Line / Curve tool :LineCurveTool: 1. Add a new layer 2. Draw with the :LineCurveTool: tool 3. Using the Paint Bucket Tool :PaintBucketTool: , color the space above Line you have drawn 4. Set this layer's Opacity to somewhere around 150.

I like your Altair one - cool colors and blending. However, I think the repeated flaw is your text placement / size. Once you get some better text, I think most of your sigs will look better.
