  1. I dun play any more I guess it's time to bust out my new ones....lol
  2. LilRedneck- it depends what you plan to do with it. If you wanted to place the dogs on the grass, there shouldn't be a white outline around them, and the background should be sharper. If you wanted to make some weird abstract you could mess with contrast and Curves + or something. It just depends what the picture is for...
  3. Heck- I'm in middle school :? *Not implying I am particularly good with this whole Graphic Arts Concept*
  4. Yeah Screenfrog- I have had wink. I like it, but it doesn't actually record video. it lets you do screen captures, as well as delayed captures, which you start and stop. The cool thing is that you can export them as a pdf or html file. Off topic/ The problem I have found is that when recording a video program (I was trying to take pics of a movie) it doesn't capture the screen correctly. You can have yourself a try- I used Windows Media Player. I don't know if it's just my computer- but when I capture it just gives me a black screen, instead of the pic.\ But besides that I've found it to work pretty well. Still- Camtasia rocks! EDIT- P.S.- the GREAT thing about wink is that it's free
  5. Hello to all @Tillerman - yeah- I like yours- cool planet- needs a bit of feathring though- try checking the "Anti-Alias" Box when in shape 3d. Here's a go I had at making an iPod Nano like on the welcome screen of iTunes (When it's plugged in) I over-complicated myself while making it. Lol, it could probably just have been drawn. But no- I had to go and use Shape 3D, and make a billion layers. Oh well, Comments?
  6. Yeah, I'd do what Fisherman's Friend said- with the gaussian and glow. All you gotta do is get a bunch of frames, and re-draw it every time, onto the original image, so that it varies a bit, like in the commercial. One problem with that, however, would be that the background got affected by some of those effects too- for example- in the commercial- when the people drew the sun, they're skin and clothes glowed yellow. You could achieve that effect (I'm guessing) by doing Curves or Curves + on a selected area, right by the drawn shape, onto the background. This would, take- a LONG time. To do it faster you'd need something like Adobe Premier. Pasting frams into PDN takes a long time. As you can tell by my posts, I'm still a newbie, so don't go by me, but I was thinking about that commercial too. EDIT: oh- and the colored ribbons effect would work nicely too, but you'd have to do it so there's no background, so that you can see the original frame.
  7. Wow- this is amazing. I had no idea about the whole "image energy" or "face recognition" stuff. If this got put into pdn- wow- people could start making crazy cool image edits.
  8. Alright- here's the image I had made the other day. I had to resize it to 1 frame for every 10 frames that I had before. Thanks to MKT's Shape 3D and cjmcguinness's Gel 'Style' Buttons Tutorial:
  9. Hello- I made another car recolor- (Same car- but with better effects this time) Paint Boy- I hope you see this 8) keeping up the not so competitive competition 8) Made with, of course, clouds, a simple zoom blur, and BoltBait's Ink Sketch and Portrait plugins
  10. Ooh, I found a little glitch with mine. It happens with the color window sometimes (if I move it around too much) It just kind of dissapears and then I have to go back to Window>Colors Dunno if it's a bug, or just my comp. It doesn't happen often
  11. Hello again- here's a pic I just made- this goes to all the Harry Potter fans out there (If there even are any in the forum) A special thanks to MKT's Shape 3D and cjmcguinness's Gel 'Style' Browser Buttons Tutorial. Unfortunately, the original is animated (rotates on a 0 degree axis) but the file was WAAAAAYY too huge to put on imageshack (around 10 mb) so I have to stick a still shot...  Email me if you'd like to see the animated one
  12. Oh yeah BoltBait- and your Portrait plugin is awesome too! It's basically a filter- really good job with your plugins man 8)
  13. Ares- I like yours- the green-lit spheres with the polar inversion are sweet
  14. Dangit.... Oh well- I guess I can stalk Rick until he makes a new version with it  Oh- and David- Paperthin Hymn? Nice sig
  15. hehe- yeah Paint Boy- I don't play Runescape any more either- but I still like my little dude I would make my own on Shape3D, but I'm not freakishly skilled like that  @Leif- oh yeah- alright. I don't wanna lose my ink sketch :o
  16. I know this might sound a bit dumb, because there is already the Line/Curve tool, but do you think someone could make a pen tool like the one from Photoshop? It makes selecting things from images SO much faster... The Tutorial for selecting with the new layer, and different colors just takes a long time in my opinion... Thanks
  17. So....in September, when it expires, am I just supposed to go back to the official version- or does the actual one come out? Oh- and I love Ink Sketch!
  18. Ah man- 10yt9 is awesome! I wanna make one... lol good job
  19. Mine is better  Dude- your rainbow car has my rights on it! HAH

  21. Hey- this is my pic- I did it really quickly using shape 3d I know it's really bad, but I've just barely started using paint.net
