thanks for your thoughts! I have tried the glass tutorial a few times, but have yet to try it with the transparent. Had searched for bevel, but thought i'd toss it in with my question.

Hi everyone- First time poster. I have been following PDN for a while now. I am amazed by it's complexity, and ease of use. However, I have a problem. I am trying to create an effect, like the one in this video where it says "ZEBRA": http://bobbysbrane.com/animation%20fun/animations/zebra.wmv What I'm trying to get at, is that I need to create a transparent text, with a bevel. And as an aside- Anyone know a good font similar to the one used in the vid? THANKS SO MUCH FOR ANY THOUGHTS!
