I pasted it and it apears on the top to que right but it only appears the first layer wich is pink, I cant see the rest of the layers is there a way to paste all of them together?

Sorry but I have like 3 days using this program and I have a question: I drew an eye and I want to paste it in one picture, but when I click paste it apears a circle with grey and white squares. Why is this hapening? Do I really need to use copy/paste or there is another method? please help this confussed newbie and sorry for my english
