  1. Vern that's awesome, how did you do it? I'm really looking for just the borders like Oma said, but if you enlighten me on how to do the glass, or where to go to find out, I should be able to fiddle around and get the borders to look the way I want, and I will forever be in your debt. Thanks guys.
  2. I tried moving the opacity down to about 150-160, and put the blending mode to "difference," and that's pretty close to what I want, but I seem to lose some detail and I want them to "shine" a little more.
  3. Ash: done and done, thanks. Bob: the image I have I am calling the "borders" of the squares of the chess board and its these I want to make glassy. Thanks
  4. I have a tutorial request, or at least a "how to" request. I'm trying to make a chess board, and I have the borders almost done, but I want to make them look like glass, i.e I want to be able to see the color underneath them. I have tried to do this with the different layer overlay options, but I'm not getting the results I want...frankly I'm not exactly sure what I want, but I'm hoping someone can take what I have and fiddle with it to make it look more glassy, yet keep the same gradients that are already there. I hope this is enough clarification, if not, let me know what other info I can give you. Thanks guys, here's what I have so far:
  5. Can you give me a web page or something where I can do more research about that? That would be great, thanks guys.
  6. That's excellent, and I think I'm going to end up doing that, thanks. But here's a tricky one: can those prints, with that formatting, be saved to be edited?
  7. I need to move 200+ separate image files onto about 40 8.5 by 11 inch pages. Is there a way to do this more quickly than cutting, pasting and resizing each image individually?
