no I don't mean the text box. the whole box, with the scrolls and everything. sorry the textbox was highlighted, that was just the picture I found. but no, i'm not getting any box at all.

I just press the up and down arrow keys and it changes the intensity or whatever. It would probably do it for other people too you just don't use the arrow keys because you have a lovely box to scroll things around or change the number. I don't have that box.

no the problem is that I can't get that box to show up. I got that picture from a tutorial. It doesn't pop up on my computer.

Yes all the effects do that. Some of them are harder to control using the keyboard, that's why I want to have the little box.

Whenever I look at tutorials I notice that when they do effects a little box pops up that lets them change the intensity but when I try to do that I don't get a little box, I can only change it by using the arrow keys. Is there a setting I can change to make that box pop up? sorry if that doesn't make much sense. It's kind of hard to explain.
