  1. I'm trying to plot something simple using Equations: I write x*(x-2)

However, even scaling the x-axis to 500 and y to 20, I can't see both roots. If I try manually scaling (writing A*x*(x-2), in which A is some scaling constant) it still doesn't do the job.

How do I use the width/height command?

  2. OK, I know this isn't something simple to be done, and also that it needs render changes to work, but I'm requesting advanced Bézier Curves, that allow more than just 4 reference points. Is it possible to be done in Paint.NET? I know it can't be done by any plugins, but with chnages in the program's code... and I tryed looking for it in the Popular Feature Requests page, but I found nothing. It is not essencial, I know, as I can do a more complicated curve with just two normal ones. But anyways, it would be very useful. Nevertheless, would it be too heavy? Would it be slow, i it existed?

  3. Well, yeah. The tutorial I did especially focuses on coloring.

Anyway, do you know Photoshop's vector Tool?

People who draw with PS always use it to redo lineart. Of course, if you want to redo lineart in Paint.NET, you have some choices:

Draw it again in a new layer. I recommend making the original lineart less opaque to be able to se what you're doing better. I did this one (http://takemangaka.deviantart.com/art/B ... l-62644990) using that method. Not recommended though. Takes too long to finish.

You could try using the Brightness/Contrast, Pencil Sketch, Ink Sketch, Curves and Levels to work the image strenght. Also, the Erode/Dilate Effect can make the outline thicker or thiner, it is really useful for me.

  4. Hm... what did I like to do in junior school?

Well, if I were the teacher, I would surely try - I said tray - to teach the children to make fun of their mates' faces. The Conditional Hue/Saturation or even the Hue/Saturation is pretty good for this, as it will make hair purple, skin blue and shirts glowing... They may like it. What elese... messing around with common effects like Gaussian Blur, Zoom Blur, Glow and the magc wand... it doesn't have to be great, as long as it's fun!

  5. It's been a long discussion, ever since was created to present days, that there are no brushes. We all know Rick intends do apply bruhses in the new Paint.NET 4.0, but until there... I found a really nice way of making brush like drawings. It's still not a tutorial as I had no saved images - I can make one whenever someone thinks it would be good. But I can say this - use the Brsuh Tool with different transparencys. It will work like a real brush in a canvas. So, with it, you don't need to do something like this...

(even though it's my own xD)

... but something quicker and more artistic, like this:

Just PM me if someone wnats a tut... this post was just for making people think.

  6. how do i print in the correct size.

using the print function in paint does start the print function of windows, which does not enable to print it in the correct size.

it offers a "full photo print" or something like this, but it never comes out the size it has in paint.net...

how do you print the pictures you created in paint.net?

Just try goinf to "Image - Canvas Size" and change it to "Centimeters - 21x29,7"
