  1. It's really nice.

Me, I just ripped off some logo Rick made a while ago, and icon-ized it with the Icon/Cursor plugin.

Don't asked permission, so it's just for personal use.

Edit: By the way, you don't have the rights for sharing your icons, the Paint.NET logo is © Rick &/or dotPdN LLC.

Thanks for thinking about sharing them, though :D

Uhhh I think I ill ask rick about it....Even though though he replied to the thread ans said nothing about it.

    Also thanks BoltBait

Well I got the Icons the way I like them by making them and changing them by using the method from this link. Click Here

Also You can download the Icons here Click Here

Wow. I really like this. 8)

  2. Thanks

For you to set something up like this in the paint .NET installer all you need do is change the registry and add the icons to the paintdotnet.exe's resources and then link each file format to the icon in the resource of paintdotnet.exe. Also a nice feature would be able to choose PDN as the default application for certain file formats in the installer.

  3. Hi all,

    Just a quick question.

I have been making some adjustments editing to some pictures that I took.

I noticed that when I go to save a dialogue box comes up, there is a slider for the quality.

If I save at 100% the file ends up being bigger then the original.

Why is this? does this mean the saved edited file is of a higher quality the the original?

As an example I opened a file pic001 that was 1.8 MB in size.

After doing the edits and saving at 100% the file is now 2.2 MB.

Should I be using the 100% to save the edited files or less to keep them a smaller size or close to the original.

    Thanks

    :D

Nothing is wrong with it be being larger than the orginal but the JPG format isn't that great I recommend the png format.

  4. NVidia pwns ATI Big time!

Also, a normal C2Duo performs better with games then a quad core, however, Intel owns AMD.

    Yes, i might be biased.

AMD has not even came out with there new processor and when AMD displayed prototypes to the public intel quit saying they were the worlds best processor. I don't know about the graphics cards whole but AMD is better than Intel when it comes to cpus. How would you like an 8 core CPU?
