I found the problem. I was using a crystalxp.net theme which puts a whole new shell on your computer. It was giving my problems with my opera browser too.

I did a virus and a spyware/malware scan and found nothing. this all started after the latest microsoft update last month.

When I try to update Iget this error. Help would be much apprciated
