  1. I did not have mine turned on either till I seen Cur's tip so I turned it on and there it was..
  2. Thank you Curmudgeon for that tip. I will try that next time. I have to go thru the complete learning curve for this plug-in now since I have the tool box to work with. OMG!!! With Curmudgeon's help, the difference between the rendering process is night&day from what I (noob) had it at. Thank you ever so much
  3. Now that I can get the tool box to appear, thought I would fool with it a little tonight. Completely amateurish of course.
  4. OK .... After further testing and whatnot, it appears that getting that box to appear where it's supposed to do is going to have to have more research. Made a short vid of what I did using mesa's and BB's suggestions..... http://www.screencast.com/users/Henders ... 62bd8475fc Thanks again......
  5. The alt space M followed by the arrows will take the cursor over to the other screen and then simply move the mouse (( no clicking )) back over to the screen you are working at.. Still be nice to have it appear where it's supposed to, but thanks to both of ya's .
  6. Thank you - Thank you - Thank you mesa !! That is exactly where that bugger was hiding. Now all I have to do is get someone to figgure out how to get it to appear on the correct screen..... I can't believe after all this time that it was sooooooooooooooooooo simple as looking at the other screen. ( other screen never on/open unless I am watching a movie thru WMP). A to mesa
  7. Well, I thought the video was quite self explanatory. You don't get a chance to hit enter once you hit on to open shape 3D. It automatically generates the pic to a round shape without any input.
  8. It's the zune theme and shape 3D did not work before I downloaded that theme. Fresh install? As I stated in the post above, "I did everything suggested thru out this thread"
  9. RE-DO OK.... made another jing vid showing the problem some of us have with the shape 3D plug-in. I have tried all of the suggestions thru out this thread to no avail. Am currently up-dated on everything. The vid (re-done for boltbait)................. http://www.screencast.com/users/Henders ... 91e4cacd87
  10. Oh, that's nice... Unfortunately, the developer of Shape3D has not been on the forum in quite a long time. What version of Paint.NET are you using? When does it freeze? While loading the program? After enabling certain settings in Shape3D? Immediately after clicking Shape3D in the Effects menu? sabrown: Games use hardware renderers. Shape3D uses a software renderer, so unless the processor is faulty, it's not that. I had all ready made a post in this topic stating that criteria (pg 39). Next time I think about it, I'll try opening PDN i safe mode and see what happens. As far as reinstalling windoze? Yeah........right.
  11. Well, I'm glad to see someone else has the same problem. Now I know it ain't my machine/set-up.... Gee, can't wait for a response from the maker or someone who may know how to fix it..... (not even holding my breath)...........
  12. Did a search for Shape3d and only came up with an someone's installation problem. My problem, is that every time I use the Shape3D effect, it works fine , makes a neat shape, but, it freezes PDN up. Only way I can retain the image is to use a screen picture maker thingy(FastStoneCapture) because the only way to get PDN to do anything is to shut it down via task manager which then you lose the shape pic. I tried several times at deleting the effect and re-downloading it, but to no avail. Currently using PDN ver. 3.10 EDIT: Just updated to v. 3.22 and the effect still freezes up PDN... bummer

  14. I finally got around to making a sig pic using PDN & UnFreeze.
  15. I am having the same problem. Yesterday, PDN worked flawlessly -- today -- kept getting . Uninstalled 3.10 , tried to re-install -- kept getting the same messageDL'ed 3.20 -- same thing.
  16. I am having the same problem (almost) as Nu7a. No crash log. 185gigs of space on hard drive. 2gigs ram. I can open a pic in PDN and either do something or not with it and as soon as I click "save as", I get the popup saying 'paint.net has encountered a problem and must close. Debug does no good (never have experienced debug doing any good with anything). In my documents folder, I have no loose vid files. They are all in their own little folders. However, while manipulating a pic tonight ( taking a pic and adding a background layer), if I have both of the pics in the same folder, I can do it and save it, but if the bg pic is in a separate folder.... crash boom bang.... it crashes as soon as I open into my documents to get to the folder with the bg pics. Now, if I pre-copy the bg pic and paste it into the original pic's folder and then do all my work from that folder, PDN works like it's supposed to. Pretty weird. Hopefully there will be a fix for this soon.
