  1. Thanks guys! All good now. =)

And now for the next Question!

When i remove the transparency value for semi-transparent pixels (like in the above examples) i get a more "saturated" pixel, meaning my semi-transparent shadows (fo'example) become darker than on the original image. How do i preserve the "look" of all the semi-transparent pixels that are getting set to 0% transparent? Is there a plug-in or simple procedure to remove transparency and use the pixel's old transparency value to fix the "saturation?" or "intensity?" or "brightness?" of target pixels?

  5. Hmmm, how did you both come to think...? Perhaps i can say more.

If we're given one layer with an image on it...

And this image has some pixels that are semi-transparent, some pixels that are 0% transparent, and some pixels that are 100% transparent.

How do i decrease the semi-transparent pixels to 0% transparent pixels?

I want to have visually the same image.

I do not want to increase the number of 100% transparent pixels in the layer's image.

I just want to change semi-transparent pixel values to 0% transparent.

If this can be done what is the easiest or quickest way to do it?

    Thanks in advance. =)

  10. Cor'e =):

I believe the answer to your question is that you can get the end result you want,

but not in the way you want to do it.

Forget about using a middle layer. Simply do a Transparency Mode gradient on

your top layer and merge it onto your bottom layer. No need to make part of the

bottom layer transparent because the opaque portion of the top layer will cover it.

This is assuming that I have understood what you are meaning to do, if not, never mind. :)

Sarkut: This sounds like what i would like to do, how is a Transparency Mode gradient done? Thanks in advance.

  15. That would be the idea if Blue (middle) was invisible so that the final "composite" was just part Red and part Yellow. The Blue layer would use one its values to render parts of Red & Yellow invisible when flattened. maybe two Blue layers have to be used, one on top of each the Red & Yellow so that Red & Yellow are only partially expressed, i guess Blue & Inverse Blue. Can this be done?
