  1. Looks Great! I see you are well on your way to mastering PDN, keep doing tutorials! And Welcome to the Forums! Glad my tut made you decide to join, and I hope you stick around. One note, I'm not sure if you are supposed to upload images here, this rule was instituted while I was away, so I don't know if it applies to all forums. Here is a tutorial on how to upload them to an image hosting site: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6270
  2. Wow, is this still here? Amazing work everyone! Thanks to everyone who posted images! I've updated it with links to Ed Harvey's newest plugin versions.
  3. Wow! I'm glad to see people are using and enjoying my tutorial! Everything so far looks absolutely amazing! (sorry I haven't been checking in as frequently as I should, I've been rather busy with school.) @ Volt Thank you! @ KnutOlafsson Very Nice! Keep it up! @ novabroodje Most Interesting! Glad to see you're trying new things! @madhatterl7 The rings are a nice touch, Good work! @unreconstructed1 Welcome to the forum! I like the space background a lot, I hope you decide to keep using the program! @ Redman DK Thank you! Nice Work BTW! @ MrRezister Happy to share! Nice Work! @ tskimarcus13 Doing tutorials is the best way to learn, I like the blue, Nice touch!
  4. @ vostok7 Very Nice! keep up the good work! @ SSPhoto Glad you like it, I was hoping when I made this that it would inspire people to do more with PDN.
  5. It looks like you forgot step 15) Curves: Luminosity. How to fix it: If you still have the Paint.NET image with all the separate layers, you can go back and do that step on the white layer. If you do not have the Paint.NET image, I'm afraid the easiest way to fix it would be to redo the tutorial. It looks like you have most of it right, just keep at it!
  6. hmm... could you please post a pic? It would help us to figure out the problem.
  7. @ KHKairi Very Nice Work! @ HellSpawn 142 Playing around is how you learn, and it still looks pretty cool. @ everyone else I see lots of cool stuff, its nice to see people are learning from my tutorial!
  8. 1024x768: I cropped the one in my previous post a bit because it had a lot of black space around the edge, is there some way to load more image sizes in dA to download? Like if you want to show a cropped version, but have a full sized version available to download?
  9. Power Source: Apophysis and Paint.NET Click to go to the image on dA
  10. That has happened to me, now I paste my history into new layer.
  11. The best way to make all the the pixels of a certain color transparent is: First set the tolerance slider to 0%, then hold down Shift and use the magic wand tool to click on a pixel of the same color as the ones you want to be transparent (in this case it sounds like the white ones on the top layer), this will select all the pixels on that layer that are that same color, you can than delete them, in effect making them fully transparent. Hope this helps.
  12. The first color on the gif color palette? or the PDN color palette?
  13. I'm not completely sure I understand the question, so if this is the wrong answer just let me know. It sounds like you want to make all the the pixels of a certain color transparent. the best way to do that in PDN is to first select magic wand from the toolbar , then set the tolerance slider to 0% then hold down Shift and click on a pixel of the same color as the ones you want to be transparent, this will select all the pixels in the image that are that same color, then press delete. Tolerance Slider: Hope this helps.
  14. @ Ash  Utterly amazing! Even for you! Which one? Blue: Or Red?: Post 500! w00t!!
  15. Add my name to the list of people who want that.
  16. In Honor of CMD: Very Cheesy, and it took a lot of work, but if it makes someone smile, it was worth it.
  17. @ Yata Each user posts a thread with the title of there user name (eg. Ash) and posts there images in that thread, when they have a new image they just add it to their thread. Credit to Drakaan and Ash for the idea. @Mr Frojo and uH I could be wrong, I have not considered any of my images worthy of putting on dA, in which case ignore the rest of this post. The thing about dA is, from what I've seen, it seems to be a place for posting your polished images, but it does not seem like the right place to go if I am looking for PDN specific feedback about a mediocre image I made in PDN.
  18. You could also select the text and right-click on the nubs on the selection. Whatever works best for you.
  19. The fan forums do the Pictorium that way, you can look there to see how it would work.
  20. It sounds like you want to do something similar to this post: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewt ... 42&start=0 See if any thing in there will help you.
