  1. You need to move the contents of that layer so that the Beveling aligns with the base of the button. Just keep moving it until it looks correct or looks like the example image from Step #31.
  2. What stopped you? What happened when you tried?
  3. Can you try installing a slightly older version of GhostScript? https://github.com/ArtifexSoftware/ghostpdl-downloads/releases/download/gs926/gs926aw64.exe or if you need 32 bit: https://github.com/ArtifexSoftware/ghostpdl-downloads/releases/download/gs926/gs926aw32.exe Let us know how it goes.

  5. This plugin integrates OptiPNG with Paint.NET. It optimizes PNG to make them smaller in file size. Both OptiPngFileType.dll and optipng.exe need to be in the FileTypes directory. This plugin is compatible with Paint.NET v3.5 and v4.x. Download OptiPNG.zip Changes - Image Resolution is now retained. - UI fixes for HiDPI and Dark Theme. - The bundled OptiPNG executable is at the latest version (0.7.7) Based on code from @I Like Pi and @null54. 6. There's this cool piece of software called Paint.NET! Maybe you're heard of it.
  7. Are you saying when you press Ctrl+S in Paint.NET, another program recognizes it as a Global Hotkey? (that would not be a bug in either program)
  8. @Tcheluskin, I've found where the resolution is being lost. It happens before OptiPNG even touches the file. I'll see if I can fix it, and will post a new release if successful.
  9. Sorry, no. That option has no effect on Resolution.
  10. I see no option to preserve the image resolution in the OptiPNG manual. This plugin can only expose functionality that's available upstream in OptiPNG.
  11. You'll need to re-create your text, because it only exists as pixels now. Locked. English only, please.
  12. "... Seems to happen more ..." (Emphasis added) The most important part is this: "There are some bugs with the error handling here that I'm planning to address in 4.1.7."

  14. I believe 10,000 GDI handles is the maximum that Windows allows a program to have. Were you working on a very huge project?
  15. Are you using a G-Sync monitor with you Nvidia card? G-Sync windowed mode is known to cause lots of problems with everything; not just Paint.NET. Can you also post your system information as listed in the paint.net settings? Settings -> Diagnostics -> Copy to clipboard
  16. Do you have an Nvidia GPU? If so, try this: NVIDIA control panel. → 3D Settings Management. → Selected graphics processor. Change to: "Auto-select Let us know if that solves the issue.
  17. There is no technical limitation, so if you want 32, just edit the source file. Change this from: IntSliderControl Amount1 = 5; // [3,20] Spokes to this: IntSliderControl Amount1 = 5; // [3,32] Spokes
  18. You can also try changing the Text Metric to Fixed.

  22. Are you saying the alpha channel becomes opaque when you save the image file? Are you saving in the PNG format?
  23. Sounds like you have an existing paint.net installation that has become broken. You can use this utility to remove the broken installation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Afterwards, you can install paint.net anew.
  24. You can move a selection by 1 pixel using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
