  2. Hello @Zumbuh and Welcome. Those are so darn cute and I especially love the 2nd one . You can post your images directly into your Pictorium thread which you have started. Most people use their first post to add new works each time, by going to the bottom of the post and hitting on 'Edit'. You can then add the IMG or URL codes from Imgur (or Photobucket) but keep in mind the posting size rules.
  3. Download the Plugin and unzip it. It should look like this: After that go to Program Files on 'C' and find Paint.net: Then it can be found by going to Effects - Stylize - Radius Corners. Hope this helps .
  4. Hi and Welcome to PDN. You may want to read this thread here.
  5. Hi Renee - sorry I can't help personally via PM's, but am happy to help on here when I have the time (which is a bit hectic right now with hubby having treatment). Whilst it's very difficult to make anything with great POW - without Plugins, it is possible to use what Paint.net has to offer and come up with something nice. Here are some steps which I hope will be of help and I'm sure 'others' will jump in with ideas too in time. 1. Import your picture cover into PDN 2. Go to Effects - Artistic - Ink Sketch - use it at default which is 50/50. 3. Duplicate the layer and change the Layer Properties to Color Burn. 4. New Layer and make your text. Use new layers for each text you want - it's then easier to move around and resize. Repeat for other text you need. 5. New Layer and draw a line with the Line/Curve Tool in Yellow and brush size #100. If you keep the shift down on your computer you will get a straight line. 6. Move the yellow lines below the Text layer. Just drag it down or use move down blue arrow  7. Change the Layer Properties of the yellow lines to 'Color Dodge'. 8. When you are happy with everything you can then flatten. Good Luck .
  6. Well - what an interesting Plugin Master TR Plugin maker . I hope this rendition is Pollicky enough . It took me an age to turn most of the colors white before I played some more.
  7. Congratulations Cc4 and @Gooney. Wonderful entries from everyone . Many thanks @Chimay once again for hosting .
  8. POLL NOW OPEN Closing date is Sunday 8th March 2015 at 11.59 PM EST WORLD TIME CONVERTER Good Luck Everyone .
  9. If you are a real novice then you had better familiarize yourself with how to use the program before trying to do this project. Here is a tutorial to get you started with how layers work:
  10. Hello @mixmedia and Welcome to PDN. One way to do this is: 1. Import your picture into PDN, which will be on its own layer. 2. Make a new Layer and, using the Shapes Tool, draw a line where you want to crop it. 3. With the magic wand, select inside the rounded rectangle, go to your picture layer, use Ctrl and I on your computer (to invert the selection) and then hit delete on your computer. 4. Use the Feather Plugin to clean up the edges. 5. Uncheck the back ground and rounded rectangle layers and Flatten the image and Save As and choose the format you want in the dropdown for either PNG or JPEG or whatever. EDIT: Before you flatten .... to get your image back to the correct size, go to the picture layer and with the magic wand, select the layer, Ctrl + I and hit delete. This will downsize your picture without the transparent background. Also, if you save as jpeg you will not see the stray transparent pixels around the corners, which will remain if you save as .png as it retains transparency. How to install Plugins can be found here.
  11. As far as I am concerned the conundrum has been solved! The designer made two different colored dresses .
  12. Beauatiful results @Seerose - I especially like the last one . Great pieces!
  13. Hi @Corkstopper and welcome. Here is a tutorial which may be helpful to you.
  14. I finally managed to make something. Never could figure out how to drag and drop though. It was fun and I'll probably play some more with it down the road. Thank you for the tutorial. You sound like your are from Maine .
  15. Hi @rekrab and Welcome to PDN. Perhaps these steps will also be of help. 1. Open PDN and import your picture. 2. On a new layer use the Shapes tool to draw a star at width #6 brush size. 3. Select the star with the magic wand. 4. Switch to the picture layer and use Ctrl I on your computer (to invert) and then hit delete. 5. Finally uncheck your BG and flatten the layers and save as png if you want to retain transparency. I hope this is of help .
  16. OK - now tearing out my hair . I've gotten this far but, after clicking on OK for the new project, I cannot drag and drop into layer 1. It does nothing. I notice from your tutorial that the graduations in the top bar are in some kind of measurement .... whereas mine shows like a time-line. Could this be the problem? I can import my image into the viewing frame, but not into the layer. Edit: I worked it out eventually by doing it the long way. i.e. rt click in layer - new media object - image file. I'll try to post it here but may have to change it to mp3.
  17. OK - I finally GOT it! I didn't realise I had to download both the files - Japanese and then the other 2nd zipped file after which, add them all together into their own file folder. That's been a challenge my little grey cells for one day! Tomorrow I play some more .
  18. Well thank you for doing this @Racer (or is it The Sportrax) ? I found your tutorial on YouTube . However, I am sunk altogether after I download the Aviutl and open it, it does not look anything like the UI you show in this tutorial. Here is what I see and it scares me to death ........ as I don't know where to start next!
  19. What can I say but WOW! I really need to play with this plugin some more .
  20. Very nice results indeed Seerose . You really keep getting such picturesque images!
