  1. I know - sadly you'd have to fill in the gaps by hand! Hope you find a solution soon
  2. They are gorgeous @lynxster4 As @Woodsy says - very you. I especially love the cranes and the parrot too - being such an animal lover
  3. I just tried it and it's a lot easier to use. Thanks for the tip.
  4. Thank you very much @Seerose Again ................. flowers on the brain.
  5. Sorry I can't answer the question above but I looked at your original first post. The not-lining-up will be a size discrepancy. I cut your 4 images up to exactly 500 x 416 each and then lined up the river and the original and they matched. Hopefully someone may be able to help you with the TileWorld question.
  6. My fault sorry. What a difference one word makes . It's official ..... I had a blonde/senior moment when reading Toey's post.
  7. If you go back to Page 76 in this Discussions Thread - June 16, 2017 - this is when it was decided, due to dwindling entries, to make it a fortnight.
  8. They are ALL perfectly transparent when opened in PDN Are you 100% sure you saved them to PNG and not to JPEG? Look what happens when I saved one of your images to JPEG and then brought it back into PDN. It shows with a white background.
  9. Thank you @MJW . I hope your distractions are good ones.
  10. @michaeliscool and Welcome to PDN No worries, all of us on here had a Day One on PDN too
  11. So sorry @DrewDale. It must have been a bad choice. My bad! I'd suggest, if you don't get anymore by Saturday, you don't extend it, ignore my entry and perhaps you pick the next round
  12. Hello @Galactem and Welcome. Just for interest - what is your operating system? It may help if you have further trouble
  13. Hello @mixmedia Please could you double-check that you did save it to PNG. I know I sometimes forget to uncheck the white background layer when I flatten images.
  14. Could you explain a bit more please what exactly you mean by "if I do anything to the image" ? The bottom layer, the top layer? A screen shot would be helpful too.
  15. Yes, checkerboard is supposed to be transparent. In the example I gave you, I was removing the white/grey around your 2nd image, to then show the checkerboard transparency. Remember that, although you may have an image on a transparent background, once you place it into a web page, or other program it will take on the color of where you are placing it. i.e. When we enter images to the Object of the Fortnight competition, we have to enter them on a transparent background. But when you view them, they show up on a white background. Hope that makes sense
  16. Oooooo - I like it This looks really cool @xod I'm sure I'll use it often. You are doing great with making Plugins - well done
  17. Hello @AhuLee and Welcome. No, I don't think that is possible. But, you can use Ctrl + Shift + F7 to say, get the layers window back in place. Here are the shortcuts to move them: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/ToolsWindow.html
  18. Wow! That's a very Moody Blue piece @LionsDragon. The snake is spooky curled up like that . The piece is lovely and shiny and glassy too . My very best'est friend comes from Wisconsin (who now lives in Texas) but through her - I know all about cheese heads and the Green Bay Packers Hope your move goes smoothly
  19. If the background is white and you want it gone, delete the white background with the magic wand. Then save as .png.
  20. Hello @StringCheese and Welcome to the forum We have a great Search option found here. So, if you have a perfectly white or black background you could use the magic wand to 'Select' the background and then hit delete. You can then use the Plugin AA's Assistant to clean up the edges. Then Save As a .png and the background will stay transparent. Or, you can cut out the image using this method found here. I hope you find these helpful.
  21. @barbieq25 - thank you so much . Yes, Spring will soon be here. This is the only time of the year I actually miss the Isle of Man as I had tulips, snow drops, peonies and daffodils in the garden. @lynxster4 - so glad you like the paperweight, made partially using one of your fabbo tutorials @Woodsy - wonderful to see you on here (hope you feel better soon) and thank you for the lovely comments
  22. I seem to have flowers on the brain lately A Paperweight.
