  1. Sorry for that - I probably should have taken the day off You can use the Glow Effect in Effects - Photo .... which is built in to Paint.net
  2. Welcome @TheDarkPoro There is a great Search option on this forum, which is very useful - you can put in: ........ Glowing - Text . Here is a pretty rough idea. Hope it's understandable (I just got home from having surgery and am a bit woozy.) 1. Uncheck Background layer 2. New Layer type CATS 3. Magic wand on Global select white text 4. Use Bolt Bait's Outline from his Plugin pack here, in pink 5. Duplicate 6. Change the color of this layer to blue 7. Outline again with a bigger outline 8. Move below layer 2 and use Gaussian Blur 9. Check Background again 10. Save to .png without the background checked IF you want a transparent background. < clickable >
  3. @welshblue - I guess @lynxster4 would be the one to answer this ............... but I'd say GO for it ..... shoes are shoes and not many entries so far. My 2cents
  4. Wow! You are on a Roll @Seerose Very glassy indeed great outcomes!
  5. Wonderful tutorial @lynxster4
  6. Thank you @toe_head2001 That's exactly how I made it .... I re-created the shoe in PDN. (Sorry I'm out of Reps right now.)
  7. Congratulations @MJW @welshblue x 2 and @MadJik. Wonderful entries all around. Thank you @lynxster4 for your smooth hosting
  8. Well done @IronSkye. Yup - it's real tough to get those many lines to fill properly, but kudos to you for those you've made
  9. But it IS similar to the stock image - that's why the OP complained thinking it was stock I made it exactly like it in PDN. Is that not allowed? That's why I've attached the PDN with all my layers. I take the meaning of "No Stock allowed" to mean that you don't just copy and paste an image. Am I wrong? If so I will remove the entry as I "imitated" the shoe in PDN. P.S. Also, in case anyone thought I used stock for the Tennis Racquet, here is the PDN: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zcj5p8k9islajb5/before flatten.pdn?dl=0
  10. Someone just PM'd me to say that my red shoe looked too perfect to have been made in PDN and accused me of using a Stock Image. I could not add the .xaml of the shoe I outlined in my PM back to them, so I am adding it here for them to see that I outlined a red shoe from a picture - found on the web - and made the shape in Shape Maker and then I colored it myself. I attach the PDN for the proof: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4wust7y6sktqvdl/2nd before flatten.pdn?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/dkhz3bp4fdm2s24/RED SHOE.xaml?dl=0 I hope this settles this
  11. Oooooo - what a lovely result. I'm thinking "Chocolate" Cookie Cutter . I too have not tried 'skewer' - it's on my next to do list
  12. " Can anyone tell me how to make the colors I need to turn out that way in the picture, instead of just in that slot? Am I not doing something I should do, or doing something I shouldn't? " If you want to copy colors from an existing image, you can use the Color Picker Tool "75% hardheid" is called Hardness/Tolerance in English. This is useful when you use the Magic Wand Your Modus: Menging seems to mean Mixing in Dutch and means "blending" in English. Each setting will drastically change the color of your image if not left in Normal.
  13. Ohhhh - I forgot to vote Congratulations @lynxster4 on 1st place - it was such a pretty color and a pencil I'd love to own Congratulations too @MadJik & @welshblue Lovely entries from all. Many thanks to @DrewDale for hosting
  14. @Seerose - Wow! A beautiful result from @welshblue's latest tutorial
  15. Hello @Cynewulf and Welcome. Please try this: OS (C:) – Program Files – Paint.net – scroll down to the PdnRepair.exe and run it. Also check you have the latest Windows Updates and that you are virus free. If this doesn't help, please tell us what system you have and Ram too
  16. @Beta0 I really liked your two videos . The blonde is really cute and I'm telling @welshblue's wife what he said
  17. Many thanks @lynxster4 I got the urge for glossy the other day . @Woodsy Gee ...... I don't think anyone has said that to me before - and I thank you @welshblue Glad you liked it. I do agree about the rays .......... but it looked a tad bare without something in the BG. Those damn BG's are so difficult to decide upon @Beta0 Thank you so much - jaw breakers ........ I like that @barbieq25 Many thanks. I was definitely in the mood for pink and red and purple, silver and gold @Seerose You are too, too kind to me . Thank you very much
  18. I concur - what a fabulous pencil and I've always wished that @MJW would do more tutorials, as his plugins are fantastic. I play with them all the time, but I'm sure I don't know half of their potential
  19. As always, such pretty renditions from you. The pink one really 'pops' off the page
  20. X marks the Spot. Very clever Plugin. You must dream 'code' when you go to sleep @MadJik
