  1. Hi @LWChris I haven't tried this on a grid, but might this Plugin be of use?
  2. Hello @j.d.melek and Welcome back. You should really have posted this in the Ed Harvey thread. The most updated Zip is on the first page: Give that a try and see what happens
  3. I'm afraid there is not much you can do with photos taken in bad focus @gulia3art Here is one of the shortest, and most amusing tutorials we have on the subject:
  4. Many thanks for the votes fellow PDN'ers and congratulations @lynxster4 on your lovely sandal . I'm so sad that I can't wear such high heels anymore .... when I'm that high I feel dizzy . Many thanks @DrewDale for hosting
  5. @lynxster4 Thank you - I know, I often go back and do old tutorials Thanks a bunch @Woodsy - working with PDN has become kind of a job for me, it's like being in the office @Seerose - I'm so happy you like looking at my images @Scooter Thank you for giving me my first laugh/chuckle of the day. You are a riot @Maximilian Many thanks for dropping by I owe @Scooter & @Maximilian a Rep point as I'm all spent out
  6. Very nice wood and especially the water
  7. Hello @mpougnet and Welcome to the forum . Until someone else arrives to help you, please could you check that you have the latest Windows updates on your computer
  8. @Woodsy Crikey - another amazing rendition from you. The detail is amazing, even down to the reflections in the windows. Great work once again . How long did it take to make?
  9. Can you tell us a bit more of what you want to do with the landscape photos please, then we can advise accordingly.
  10. Hmmmm - those pesky Gremlins are about again but I got your PM just now. Congratulations to the placers and thank you for your votes. Very lovely entries from all. Thank you @lynxster4 for hosting
  11. @MJW I too am not real savvy about this kind of problem either. At the least, they may be able to rectify the problem, as their initial message seemed to reflect that they were working on it and that the .cc was a patch for now. Hopefully this is so . Perhaps they didn't pay their bill this year Someone on the IsItDown site suggested this: Simone Preston · Duke University No, a "find & replace" will change every single instance/image of postimg.org to postimg.cc within a single html file (or whatever your source file is). You have to do it for all of your separate files, though.... but not your separate images. If you're posting to other people sites, then I guess you have to give them the updated image links.... and that would be a pain if it's a ton of separate sites.
  12. Fortunately only one image was affected in the Galleria and was easily fixed. It would be a mammoth job to go back and edit the comp sections though. I wonder if it is worth it? They could be unlocked if folks really want to go back and add the .cc to their image address's.
  13. So, I've been playing again with glassy things! No surprise there, I guess Thank goodness for Paint.net, which is helping me to keep my mind occupied. Don't know what I'd do without it
  14. @MadJik I am getting really confused about what is going on here. When I log-in the old way to: postimages.org I get into the site okay. But, when I click on an album it shows up as postimg.cc/files. You mention Postimg.org ............ which I've never used before and is different to postimages.org. The question remains that something really weird has happened. Does anyone know if one pays to join Photo bucket (God forbid) do they allow people to link back to them now? EDIT: I've just noticed that whilst I'm logged-in on the forum, in Firefox, all my postimages.org images are viewable( but not clickable.) When not logged-in on Chrome, the links are broken
  15. As of now, Saturday 14th April 2018 the Postimage.org site is up and running again and they are adding .cc to the images. Testing with this image: I guess we have no option but to change our images to include the .cc. I can't find a reason why this happened.
  16. Ahhhh - I'm in love those kitties are so adorable. And the octopus too . And the pudding planet looks good enough to eat . Great images @lynxster4
  17. You can still get in to PostImage.org by ignoring the message and go to top right and click on Images. It takes you to your images. I've just added one and will test it here. Someone has suggested on the IsItDown site, which says it's up and running, that Postimage.org has been hacked.
  18. @Djisves Yes, can see previously uploaded images, but try to login to Imgur .................... you get a cute giraffe with a note that's it's over capacity.
  19. Hopefully this is not going to be a problem, but today I can't link to either of these sites which seem to be down. Is anyone else having this trouble?
  20. Hello @Bloodshot_pico and Welcome to the forum An easy way would be to get some brushes from the web, like from Brusheezy if you can't draw the marks with the brush tool yourself. How to install Brushes. 1. Draw your scratches by hand, or by using custom brushes. 2. Keep the white background unchecked - for keeping transparency. 3. Use the Magic wand on Global to 'select' the black marks and invert (Ctrl + I) 4. Use white for an inner shadow - the plugin for that is found here. 5. Deselect and apply Gaussian Blur. 6. Save this in .png form. Close PDN. 7. Reopen Paint.net and import any image. 8. Import the claw marks, which will appear on a new layer. 9. Play with the layer blend modes, or color balance, to get something you like. I hope this will work for you. Drawing the claw marks would be a lot simpler than learning to use Brushes, if you have not done so before
  21. Very nice @RMSTITANIC - this one really glows
  22. Wow! Loving the latest fractals and the Fur Blurs @Seerose All the images are showing up now
