The shuttered look, if that's what you mean, was created by separting the canvas into rectangles that I used drop shadow on. The rest is adapted from here and changed a little to give a rougher texture.

Nice fan, it reminds me of my rusted creation. I also like the maze. Very good quality.

BB00: Very nice! Actually, I was working on rusty lettering when I stumbled upon a technique for this less rusty mettalic text.

Attention this will be the last update before I start a new system. I will post on this forum after posting on the pdnfans site Every other creation I make will be when I update here. To clarify, I will update on the pdnfans site, and the next update will be placed on both sites. The second update when placed on this forum will include the earlier update as well. There will probably be a few exceptions. My creation for this update is gold/metal lettering. It is a little dark, but I will try to work out the technique.

Nice wooden floor! Might I suggest use of the point warp plugin. It is what I like to use to make knots in the wood.

It's amazing what you can do with this! I'd post pics, but I'm too lazy.

a little bit of frosted glass and outline object earned this....i think this is more snowish.....the text can be made more readable if the size of the font would have been more I was aiming for a "If I packed snow into the shape of a word..." or "If I took a giant cookie cutter that spelled out "Someone2016" and used it to cut that out of the snow..."

I made this: in a quick... say... 30 minute job, rushing the detail etc. It was based on this: http://div.dyndns.org/EK/tutorial/texture/ I took some creative liscense making the square border rounded and the blocks in the background became shutters.

Haven't posted here for a while. So I decided to post this. A new wallpaper.

I'd like to add, try increasing canvas sizes and deleting the extra stuff, then using an effect. I did things like that and on my second sig got a 9.9/10. Now, when I was a new user, I used Cjmcguinness's tuts and Madjik's, etc. I would recommend as a nice builder that I used was Tom Jackson's fire tut or Fire Text tut. Finally, sometimes it helps to just apply random effects and see what comes up.

I know it is phisically impossible to carve this on a pumpkin (because it never connects to the pumpkin,) but the carving is an ambigram. It says "Good" when it is upside down and "Bad" the regular way.
