Hello,
I know, I've been missing for a while. I've missed quite a lot of great stuff here, like 300 or so pictorium pages! Guess I shouldn't stay away too long.
Here are a few pieces I just finished. As always, click for full view.
This one is intended as a wallpaper. I have widescreen and standard resolution available at deviantart.
Have a windows mobile phone? Theme available at DA also.

...I really regret not having the time to enter a sig in the competition.
I agree with that...

Yay 2nd place. Congrats Buzzkill.
Wanted to show a detail shot of the planet in my entry. I don't know what I was thinking but the final resolution before resizing it to the 500x150 limit was 2667x800. I started to put way too much detail into it before I shrank it down. :? Anyhoo...
Click for full 1000x1173 resolution.
Also wanted to say that the abstract artist in me really liked JiMiCrAcK's entry. Good job.

The Tube Oblique plugin may be able to help you.

Exception details: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
After seeing this line I'd probably run scandisk to make sure that there is nothing wrong with your memory. There could be a problem there but, I'm no expert. Maybe someone else can chime in here...

Just put it on the bottom layer and don't touch. There isn't a lock layer command as of yet.
That is how I do it when I create an image for a lightscribe cd. I think it's a 1200x1200 canvas with a circle that touches all four edges on the second layer and I create whatever image I want starting on the third layer.

Well, here's my entry...
Other than Jerbert, 100% PDN.

Here are a couple examples that I've done with the CodeLab scripts...
I've created a few dll's out of the scripts using the standard CodeLab 3 slider UI but only having 3 variables is just not quite enough for fractals. If I had time I'd learn a little C# but alas, there is never enough time for everything...
[Just a off topic doubt. Sorry. What's with the little black dot on some topics?]The dot shows that you have posted in that topic. [/off topic]

@Spike121: Yep, there is a few layered in there. Playing with the Mandelbrot Codelab script.

@jpope: Excellent yet again! You are the master of making wavy lines...and making them work! (I'm not quite sure what that means...it's intended as a compliment )@jpope: That space scene is amazing! I'm pumped that you released the PDN for the planet as well. Thanks a bunch!
Thanks and you're welcome.

I decided that I would release a .pdn for those interested. It is of the planet for the spacescene I posted above. The .pdn can be downloaded Here. Enjoy!

Thanks guys.

In order to create dll's with CodeLab you have to run Paint.NET as the administrator. Usually if you right click on the PDN icon there will be an option to do this within the list that pops up.

I don't mean to be rude but...Try this.

I've been playing with the settings to give me a few different sliders for the standard code. I really haven't studied any type of programming so I'm more or less just playing around with the codelab script.

...The GIMP as an example of good UI design in this instance...
Wha?!? Ok...only in this instance.

This is a very nice, well made plugin. Having Contrast Range control is splendid, but being able to weight the effect based upon RGB color channel is splendiferous!
Well done!
>_>
How about :Jerbertface: -->
:D

How about just integrating a few more blends modes into the official version?
I vote for 'linear burn' and 'linear dodge'.
-
Looks and works great.
I must say that you do a very nice job with your plugins. The UI is quite user friendly.
You've earned a few :mtdew:'s.

@The_Lionhearted: Thanks.
@CMD: I guess thats fair since I voted for you. Although, BuzzKill's was a close 2nd for me.
Great job everybody.
