  1. The reason why its a white background in jpeg is because jpegs dont support transparency. So you're saying that its a blank file in SimPE and skins studio. Does the file open again in paint.net?
  2. I cant see the picture, theres just the red x there. This can make some pretty cool borders though.
  3. The bars plugin can do this. One second and ill show you how. EDIT: Ok, the plugin is here. Scroll down on his post to #3, where he shows you how you can make a splat out of that. Another thing you can do it draw a circle, use the frosted glass effect, and median at a really small value.
  4. Could you post a picture on something you would want shiny? Then we could show you exactly what to do.
  5. Read rule number 4. Change the name of this thread before it gets locked.
  6. You can change it manualy, but it would be nicer if they were defaulted to x, y, z.
  7. They were saying how it would make tutorials easier and how photoshop has one. Im suprised that its not in the popular feature requests.
  8. Or something that would be better than a fruit bowl, a tutorial on how he does all of those cool things with shape3D.
  9. Adding more ram to your computer would be a ton cheaper than photoshop.
  10. To do that, type in {url=sitenamehere}img code here{/url} except replace { with [ and } with ]
  11. http://www.dafont.com Also, if you tried the search thing on these forums, you would have found your answer sooner. Heres one i found right away. Use search before creating a new thread.
  12. Or if you're like me, 10 days to start it. Ill try to start tommorow. It does look like theres a ton more people entering this time than last time.
  13. I can really see myself using this a ton from here on out. Really wish it had antialising though, but besides that, its great.
  14. The more experienced you become with this program, the better you will get. To pull of some pretty nice stuff like those textures though, you will need to work hard at it. There wont be some little tutorial that will get it all done. And also, any graphics editor can create textures like that. It depends on how easy and how long it would take to create them though. To make something like that in ms paint would take days or weeks, while it wouldnt take nearly as long to make something like that in photoshop. But also, experience will let you pull of better things faster.
  15. Im not sure if ill enter in this one. Yours looks really cool Buzzkill. Ill probobly vote for you.
  16. Switching the primary/secandary colors should fix that. I dont know why it isnt.
  17. Im not sure if it can do that. The closest you can get to what you want (i think) is to use the gaussian blur at a low value.
  18. Wow, big pictures. Look cool though. I really like that thing ben. Its nice how its at an angle, instead of just flat pointing at you.
  19. Thank you boltbait! Ive been waiting for something like this for a long time now. :D
  20. There is no plugin to do this, but loads of tutorials. It sounds like you messed up on one of the steps on the tutorial to end up with that result. You should post your result there and ask where you went wrong instead of creating a new thread.
  21. Is word freeware? Its not paint.nets fault that you have a bad font. If you want to use this program, your going to have to find out which one it is. What I would do is to go through and delete all of the fonts that you would never use, because that might contain the bad font. Also, it really slows paint.net down if you have too many fonts installed.
  22. The only multiply thing paint.net has is as a layer blending property. Click the layer property icon (on the layers window, all the way to the right.) On the mode drop down box, select multiply.
  23. Or you could click the IMG code box in photobucket.
