  1. Wow. Thats a pretty big image you're working with.
  2. Wow.   Thats really good. The edges of some leaves and the barrel are a little blurry, but thats really impressive.
  3. Thats pretty cool BB. I like the texturing and lighting in it.
  4. Heres some more advanced sword hilts. I would reccomend using a 3D tool such as anim8or or blender to do 3D stuff like that. You can do it in paint.net, but it would be a little harder. Shape3D might help, but a 3D editer would be your best bet to make a realistic sword hilt in my opinion.
  5. Or what Honda did would also work. I didnt think of that. Copy/paste and clone stamp are pretty much the same thing, but it would be a lot easier to copy/paste on this.
  6. Clone stamp should do it. Im not sure why it didnt for you.
  7. Ive been wanting this to be possible also, seeing how im starting to work with larger and larger images.
  8. Honda said: Ive got a copy too. Desktop/pdn source. Also, im sure some people here would be willing to make some icons. I could make some also. EDIT: Ok, ill start working on a new set of icons tommorow. Ill go for a vista'ish style, and get them as high of quality as I can.
  9. You should do it in png. Try it in that, then see if it works.
  10. Yea, pretty much what Ghost ranger said. Go to the intallation sticky at the top of this section, or just click here. Scroll down to the second post there, and do exactly what it says. The Windows installer cleanup thing should fix your problem. EDIT: You accualy dont have to delete c:/program files/paint.NET. Just use the installer cleanup thing.
  11. That looks pretty cool. The edges of the circle things look like they need a little feathering though.
  12. ^ Check out the video tutorials on the blender homepage. Those are pretty usefull.
  13. It feathers the edges of something solid if the stuff around it is transparent.
  14. When you saved them, what did you set the transparency threshold as?
  15. Good free 3D program = Blender Good free easy 3D program = Anim8or And if you dont like those, another good free easy but not as powerful = googles sketchup
  16. There should be a link in the feather thread to download it. c:/program files/Paint.NET/effects is where you would put the dll that you downloaded. Then once its installed, the feather plugin should be under the effects thing at the top middle of paint.net. I think its under blurs.
  17. You want to make 3d stuff? All paint.net really has for this is shape3D (check the plugin section). Pdn is a 2d graphics editor. To make cool, realistic 3D stuff, it would be a ton easier to use a 3D editer. I would recomend either blender or anim8or. If you dont like either of those, you could try googles sketchup.
  18. Somethign like this. Its a different step from some of the stuff we've done before.
  19. This will save me a ton of time. I ussualy just tried to do this mannualy. Another great pyro-plugin
  20. This looks pretty cool. I read about it on your blog earlier today. What really sounds cool is the performance increase in the effects, mostly gaussian blur because I use that a ton. Also, including the portrait plugin into the program will change how a ton of people view this as an something you can use for image editing.
  21. That looks really cool. It kinda matches your sig. The polar inversion you used to make all of those swirls in the background looks really good.
  22. On the color tab, click "more" if you havnt already. It should be one of the bottom color sliders there. Its either labled "Value" or just "V", i forget which one.
