i fixed the problem! go to file> acquire> scanner/camera> select your scanner> and click on "Adjust the quality of the scanned picture"> fix the resolution!

any solutions? please?

how do i change the resolution? (sorry for stupid question)

I just recently installed vista, which replaced xp. I downloaded all the necessary drivers for my computer (including my printer/scanner). One day, I was scanning a picture using paint.net, but it gave me this message : "Not enough memory to load image". thats silly. I had scanned tons of pics using paint.net before, and i never got this message (using xp). I have 2GB of ram and dual core processor. I'm guessing this is a vista bug. I hope you guys fix it! I'm just wondering if somebody could make a plugin that can outline text in a different color. that would be neat! thanks!
