  1. Is it? I guess that's why it didn't get accepted...
  2. And your gallery banner is really cool as well! I will have to agree, and throw my congratulations to you too. Nice gallery.
  3. Another three way tie. Crumbs. Since a lot of people seem to be in favor of the "Make up your own Application" idea, I believe I'll go with that and scrap the rest for later. Any suggestions? (The idea needs to be perfected.) I am thinking that it shouldn't be just any application on the block. Needs to be more specific.
  4. Sorry, Rubrica. It's a nice idea, but I don't think Paint.NET is a great program for it.
  5. Well, seeing as there is currently a six-way tie, how about we skin all six? C'mon! More votes!
  6. Thank you, sabrown. I'll keep those in mind and add them in future polls. Except that getpaint.com has already been done.
  7. Want to talk about the Tenth bonus competition? You've come to the right place. Chat away about this competition, or suggest ideas for future MSCs.
  8. You know, neither do I. Strangely enough, I Like Pi, I have no problems on this new computer. Seeing as I use it (the new PC) almost exclusively now, I'm not going to worry about the other computer. Anyway, as an example, a spacescape of mine - 1000x1000px - went from 943KB, to 709KB. And it opens at my bidding. You're a hero.
  9. I'm very sorry, this unfortunately cannot be done. Photoshop allows editing of text at any time until it is rasterized (as you know), but Paint.NET does not support vector objects, so as soon as you load a .psd into Paint.NET, any and all vectors are converted immediately to rasters.
  10. The first one is fantastic, Commander! (On a side note, do you prefer being called Sozo?)
  11. Wow. Like the original, but with added crunchiness! The technique is awesome. Most certainly something to try the first chance that I get!

Did for me... So, are ya' going to show us some things?
  13. Guess who inspired it...
  14. Ooh! A few things I haven't seen yet. The 'Maupin Hall' design is really quite good. In fact, pretty much everything here is excellent. "This is madness? THIS...IS...SONIC!!!" Hilarious. Keep 'em coming!
  15. @j2k: That's hawt. @jerkfight: Looks nice, but a little to rounded to me. Maybe that's the look you were going for... --- Two interfaces of my own, one of Google, and the other Paint.NET. (Both for the Monthly Skinning Competition.) Also can be viewed in my gallery.
  16. @CJ: Stunning... I would have to agree! @St.Jim: You could use the Antiquing tutorial for the screen... --- Now, for some spacescapes... 100% Paint.NET, save the photograph, which is from sxc.hu. Note that terrain in these last two pieces was rendered in Terragen, and minor brushwork was added in the GIMP. Also can be viewed in my gallery.
  17. You raise a good point which I forgot to mention. The first spacescape (millennia) is 100% PDN aside from the photograph, the other two have terrain rendered by myself in Terragen, and some minor brushwork applied in the GIMP. Thank you; I am very glad that you enjoy them! Thank you, jerkfight! I will be adding some signatures later.
  18. Hello. The name's Helio. And what you are about to see is 100% Paint.NET goodness (unless otherwise marked). Do enjoy! Spacescapes: 100% Paint.NET, save the photograph, which is from sxc.hu. Note that terrain in these last two pieces was rendered in Terragen, and minor brushwork was added in the GIMP. Some photo manipulations: Some abstract pieces: Can you tell I like spheres? And some interfaces (both for the Monthly Skinning Competition): (Some of you may note that I have redone some of my works recently, adding contrast and the like.)
  19. But wasn't this in the Overflow, in which reviving is allowed?
