Ending the the year in style, relish this limited edition, two–month special! What's this? A poll? Judgment approaches! Five days, this poll shall be open... and then—well, cake, of course. -- The Spec's: In this episode, as in the previous special, freedom and creativity reign supreme. With Applications being the theme of the last special, this time you must either skin or design a website. You enjoy the same flexibility—the option to either redesign an existing website, or to create a website that (as of now) does not exist. An elaboration... Now, understand this: all submissions must be graphical. No coding is required to make an entry; simply enter a representing, mock–up image—created with Paint.NET. That's up to you. If you're skinning an iPod, I would use the iPod functions. If you're redesigning an iPod, you might call it an "iPod improvement", or create your own device. Right!

Who doesn't have an iPod... or at least a cell phone? With the emergence of hand-held computers and 'smart' phones, many of these machines run their own OS (Operating System (Wiki this)). This is your challenge - create a Mobile OS. An expanded explanation... Well, you must create an OS for either a phone, or an MP3 player. You may present your OS in or out of a device; only what the screen would display, or as you would see it in your hand - with physical attributes. Using Photoshop brushes in Paint.NET (free Photoshop substitution) :Up: An article I stumbled upon accidentally. It involves Señor Brown's Custom Brushes Plugin.

Well, did you have PDN open while doing so? And if so, have closed and re-opened it? Perhaps you've already read this installation guide?

I suggest a good course of light, frequent applications of a non-oily moisturizer (shea butter would be nice). Ones with sun-blocking properties are great - perhaps SPF 15? All of the above mentioned work nicely as well; clone stamp for more drastic cover-ups, and surface blur for some smoothing.

... Meh. The main purpose of the rule is to delineate what was created by the entrant and what was not. It should be fairly obvious to any casual viewer of the entry that he did not create the PDN windows from scratch, and of course, there is no reason to state whence they came. You may state it if you wish - but I think it not mandatory.

Actually, it isn't. I had an amendment sent to me in the form of a PM - a certain Matoyak meant to vote for LFC4EVER, but mis-voted. LFC4EVER, you are the Champion. Olli, you come in an extremely close second. Ego Eram Reputo takes third. Sorry for the confusion. Congratulations, one and all!
