  1. It's definitely not a blur. A blur, to be a blur, has to change the original image somehow. Outline Object does all of its work under the source image. The more I think about it, the more it seems to me that Outline Object really does belong directly in the Effects menu, alongside similar effects such as Outline and Glow. How much RAM do you have? If you don't know how to check, just post the crash log. I believe I may know what's going on, and knowing how much RAM you have will help me confirm or scrap my idea. I have 1Go of RAM. I kinda posted something not to clearly -- it's only if you push the slider forward, then actually try to blur the image. As in click the OK button. Usually on images that take a lot of memory.
  2. I think that when you first open PDN, there should just be a link that directs you to the forums, where you can start learning
  3. Have you ever worked on an image, saved it, closed PDN, then re-opened your file, forgot that you needed to come back in the history and make some changes, and found out your history was deleted? I suhhest we find some way to save history -- which could take some plumbing, and maybe a new file type.
  4. Sounds good to me. But is the gaussian blur slider's lenght going to change, or are all the... magnitudes going to augment by 5%? I don't think what I said is very clear... Say the slider is currently at 200. Is it going to go above 200, or will it stay 200 and be stronger? Because I would like to still be able to do very small blurs.
  5. Doesn't let me use it on my new computer. Stupid hard disk crash >_>
  6. http://www.interfacelift.com Or even making your own is more fun I think.
  7. It says it on MKT's website... But anyways, it looks good  I did the same thing, except I changed the spaces between the pictures to brushed metal (see tutorial). Then, I tinted it red, put my name on it, used S3D and there we are.
  8. There's a way that's faster than making a plug-in. I think. Duplicate your text, 3D shape, whatever ( from now on referred to as Design), layer. Select all around your Design (Press Ctrl+Shift+). Go on the bottom layer, press Delete. Uncheck the box next to the top layer. Select the transparent parts (White and grey checkerboards, same tool as before) Press Ctrl+I. Find a way to make the interior of your selection all black(Contrast, or brush, set to black of course). Check the top layer box that you unchecked before. Click on the bottom layer, and gaussian blur to how big you want your shadow to be. If you want to move the shadow, instead of a gaussian blur, do a motion blur in the direction you want it to be. Move your Selection as needed. Tadaa! Here's what I got with my brushed metal orb. Is this what you wanted?
  9. I wanted to to be the first to download this...
  10. What did I not do right? When I draw the first gradient, it's green at the bottom -- not black like yours... I'll continue and see if it still looks good.
  11. Basically like your sig, except without the waves? BoltBait already made one
  12. It looks really good. Where is the smiley that claps?
  13. Yeah, I think it's not blurry enough... The plug-in is still in development, so I'm making mountains with what I can.
  14. Oooo, I really like this. I'm going to try and make on, the use Shape3D with it. Ok, I'm done. I made a Glass Orb with the, well Glass Orb plug-in (look for it in the plug-in board, it can't be very far). I reduced my canvas size for it to be a perfect square, with the sides touching the sides of the orb. Then I expanded it to 120%. Then, I made another layer, which I put under the glass orb. I used your tut, applied a glow: a little higher brightness, a little lower contrast. I used Shape3D to make a sphere out of it (the plug-in is stickied), default sizes, just with anti-alias on, strenght of 5. I duplicated the layer twice (we'll call the first duplicated layer A, the second duplicated layer . For A, I applied a gaussian blur (which pretty much gave it a shadow). For B, I selected the transparent parts (Ctrl+Shift+Magic Wand, click on one of the transparent parts) and pressed Ctrl+F (repeat effect). I flattened the image, and voila!
  15. I like the plug-in, Kinda funny... But, I can't figure out what it can be used for... Not trying to flame or anything
  16. Yes. if your mouse pushes the slider forward too much, Bam! and paint.Net is gone.
  17. I like this render. I made a pool ball with it I selected the coloured part, the bottom white part, recreated the gradient. Then I made another layer, writing "5" 25 pixels-ish from the bottom line of the top white part. Then I used MKT's Shape3D to make the "5" more asjusted to the pool ball. And there it is Note:You need to have the exact same number of pixels for your height and your width. Edit: I just saw the post above, and I like my method better 8)
  18. I really love this plugin. MKT is teh 13370rz. My dice. Not original but it's a test-drive. Added a motion blur, too.
  19. Oh my, I love this plugin. With a few rainbow rectangles as a top layer (mode Overlay) and using the Vibrato plugin on a layer under the one mentioned above, then Solorizing it with Ed's "Ed-fects", *muah!* bella! Edit: Solorized it again... Less risks of seizures
  20. O gosh, thank you for making that plugin. I try to zoom blur on stuff and it zooms from the middle <_< [ot]I wish that "<_<" became the smiley I expected. There's a "very mad" smiley, but not the frustrated one.[/ot]
  21. I really do like your effects. Keep making more because I'm to lazy and stupid to make my own.
  22. I'm downloading all the stickied plug-ins  Well, this one looks good, good job.
