  1. rbipirate, check out the forum rules. The thread you originally posted this to is nearly four years old. We don't allow that. I've split it out. As for your question, there's no way to do this in Paint.NET, and it's not really intended as a batch processor. For batch processing we usually recommend IrfanView, but in your case I think you'd do well with Snagit. I use it daily for work. It binds to your Print Screen key and launches a dedicated editor for each image; additionally, it saves all images with a timestamp as a filename. Coupled with a utility like Renamer to serialize them to your liking, and I think you'll have what you need!
  2. Hey OVZh, You should probably post this in the Plugin Developers forum (if you're still seeking testing or development help) or in the Plugin Publishing forum (if you feel it's ready for release). Thanks! Sorry, I didn't see that you already had. Ignore me! :-)
  3. Pixey - the original poster is already running 4.0.3.
  4. But have you tried this? There's nothing wrong with the installer. I've used it on six different 64-bit systems with zero problem; more to the point, so have hundreds of thousands of others. The problem is definitely on your end, so if you want help please follow these steps.
  5. Technically speaking, once you've edited the photo, a lot of the EXIF becomes invalid anyway.
  6. I'm sorry you felt that way. That was not the intent at all.
  7. You know, for the kind of work you're doing, you'll actually probably find Inkscape to be a better tool.
  8. My profuse apologies for not answering exactly the way you'd like, but sentences like are rude and unhelpful. Open a troubleshooting thread like you're supposed to, and get your attitude in order.
  9. I've discovered this SO thread that seems to have good results in deactivating Nvidia Network Manager. Are you running that utility?
  10. Well, you may have a selection active that you're not aware of; try hitting Ctrl+D to clear any active ones. Also, make sure that the color you're using isn't the same as the color underneath it. Finally, you may have selected a layer that is beneath a layer with pixels in it; try adding a new layer, dragging it to the top of the layer window, and trying to place the line on that layer.
  11. Yes, that should work. What isn't happening that you think should be?
  12. Looks like BB already did the dirty work.
  13. Awesome! Glad you got it sorted. Weird bug, but comparatively easy fix!
  14. This should in fact be its own thread. Partially because the other was old, partially because it was about a different problem. :-) I've split it out.
  15. If you never got SP1, that would be my assumption, yes. Look at the System Stats in the control panel: (click for bigger) If the line that the arrow is pointing to does not appear, then no, you don't have SP1.
  16. Looks like you have Aero Glass disabled. Does this still occur when you turn it on?
  17. Cc4FH already mentioned Quadrilateral Reshape, tomy.
  18. Unfortunately, saving an image that way will rapidly balloon the filesize of images, so it's not really feasible. One way I've done that effectively is to create a "history layer," which I type all of my effects and settings on and then hide. Just make sure you save it in the .PDN filetype so you don't lose that layer.
  19. Merged with the CBM thread. All plugin troubleshooting should go in the thread for that plugin.
  20. This looks like something more suited to Inkscape. Not that you couldn't do it in Paint.NET, but it would probably be easier in Inkscape.
