I'm not sure it needs a custom dialog. Other apps don't behave this way (eg standard MSPaint & Firefox) and they appear to use the Windows default dialog.

Great software! ...but this "feature" also drives me up the wall. For my work flow, thumbnail is the least useful of the five views.
