You can also do it that way using PDN, On a new layer, fill black, use :AlphaChannel: (Use right mouse button from center of image and drag outwards), then adjust curves as you need. You can adjust to any amount you like.

It's not about new tabs or not, it's about speed. Direct links to the image loads faster than loading the photobucket page. Not everyone have super fast connections.

Either clickable thumbnails or direct image link, not photobucket page link, just like shown in KillerK's post. Simple.

No, 99 is the top layer. Paste whatever image you like on the bottom layer. Then change blending modes. Maybe you should press F1 key while using PDN and read about all the basics before moving on.

IIRC, planet tuts have been done before.

Put the image you want on the bottom layer, then change the (the number 99) top layer's blending mode to either... Reflect, Lighten or Screen.

Read the rule. Change the sig.

Bottom layer, original image. Dup layer, blur. :AlphaChannel: then or or :LinearGradient: You will see what I mean.
