  1. Oh, that program is magic. I've been using it for around two years, and is yet to disappoint Much faster than iTunes, though both tend to be RAM hogs...
  2. Boy, I just love quoting and bashing you, don't I? I'm going to have to disagree with you. I think the motion controler/no controller system is going to be incredibly big, giving people who don't normally play games a chance to jump in and make couch potatoes actually work for their sniper headshots. It'll be a movement just like the iPhone and it's touchscreen (which I, being a fool, thought that was a bad idea). I can imagine 10 years from now: "Back in my day, we only used buttons to play video games! Nowadays, you wipersnappers just wave your arms and jump around to play." Oh, as for my opinion on the whole system, I think Sony has it right, assuming they'll put enough work into the hardware for it. Microsoft's concept sounds nice, but "no controller" may be too much. How are you going to reload, switch views, and pause the game? There has to be some controller. Nintendo's also going to be in a hole for the next two years or so developing their improved system.

  4. Sounds Latin. Hmm, you're right. Yay, I think in Latin! Thinking in Latin could be useful somewhere... like fancy brand names! Meh, 95% of the closed beta testers are either Google employees or big blogosphere journalists.

  6. ...this might be the most productive summer I've ever had. * I'm in the middle of making a Coldplay remix (if you saw that rough 50-sec piece of it I uploaded) * To compliment that, I'm learning how to play piano, and it's going great (I got the first page of a good ol' Beethoven down pretty well) * Will be re-learning guitar in a month or two (going to be electric this time around) * Getting a job... I hope it'll be good enough to last me for two more years * I'm also going on a diet (even though I'm under 150). Just yesterday, I biked ~13 miles * I plan on getting a new cell phone, buying another iPod touch, a PS3 controller, and a few other small things (yay craigslist!) * Oh, and my graphic design stuff is going better than it ever has (*cough*newest*cough*)

  8. Haha, I just bought Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for my PS3, but I have no controller XD ____ By the way, have you ever noticed that it's really easy to invent words on the fly if you use a keyboard? Nandas consenit falur desinado trabalonious sedadelic eandas cearn molentest... so funny how you brain automatically knows what letter combinations work. I guess that's why I'm able to spell things I normally can't while writing

  10. Sharpies are lifesavers, aren't they? So versatile! One time on picture day at school, I took a Sharpie and drew a Hitler [mustache] out of it. They actually took my picture, too!. However, the people preparing the yearbook used my picture from last year. Oh well

  12. Actually, the opposite is true. It may not have a next-gen processor, but the concept was revolutionary (as shown by Sony's and Microsoft's attempt to copy it), which gained massive popularity in a short time. As a matter of fact, earlier this week I read that the Wii is by far the best selling console in the US, and it's not slowing down anytime soon. 15 Million Wii Fit units were sold in one year alone, and back in March, 50 million Wii consoles were sold. In the last 9 weeks of the school year in Engineering, our class had no other projects to do, so we started playing Counter-Strike and Halo on the school computers and bringing in TVs and video games to waste time. There was one lucky person to have a 360 Elite, then a few PS3s, and some Wiis (one of them was our Engineering teacher's ). By the end of the year, we were either playing Counter-Strike or Smash Bros. Brawl. So from what I saw, the graphics weren't the deciding factor, but the gameplay and fun factor. By the way, I suck at Brawl. Much better at Mario Kart, though

  14. Bah, I'm not even going to think about new consoles. Even Nintendo says they'll be using the same old Wii for the next 3+ years. Sony's PS4 will be even farther away, with a rumored slimmer PS3 supposedly coming next year (the original rumor was for this year). They're not developing game systems like cars from the 60s anymore (change every aspect of the car each year); they're taking it like TVs (a something new every ~5, whether it be size, resolution, ect.). Then there's mobile devices... The new PSP Go is kinda nice, but not worth the money (you could buy an iPod touch with that!). I also read that Nintendo has scrapped ideas for a new GameBoy, so they're probably going to stick with the DSi for many years to come. Depending on the awesomeness of the ZuneHD, Microsoft may enter the mobile gaming ranch as well, but I honestly don't think it can beat what Apple is dishing out.

  16. I actually got the "controller" at a really nice price (cheaper than Wal-Mart and even Amazon) for ~$43. It's all a funny situation, really. I'm pretty sure it was a simple mistake (he's had all positive feedback until two days ago when all the people's "controllers" arrived at their homes). By the way, looking at the iPhone case closely, the material is actually of some quality. The plaid has an almost fabric-like texture to it (from what I can feel without removing any more packaging). Still ugly.

  18. Today, I was notified by USPS that my package has arrived (a white PS3 controller I bought from eBay) all the way from Hong Kong. I go to my mailbox, and I find a package that's unusually small. I open it to see not a PS3 controller or anything related to a Playstation, but instead, an iPhone case. An ugly one at that (plaid). So I go to the seller's feedback page, and it seems that the same exact thing has happened to 11 other people, all giving negative feedback. Waiting for a response from the Chinese guy.

  20. Okay, so I was just on craigslist, looking for a summer job, and I found the most generic, non-descriptive job listing ever. By the way, the job listing's title was "Now Hiring!"
