  1. sorriso? that's portuguese for "smile"! Are you portuguese? No, but I did choose it as my name in high school Spanish class. (There's a very good reason why I didn't choose the Spanish word for "smile")

  3. Hi all. First post. Glad to be here. I talked to Rick about the new gradient tool a bit last night but was curious to get some other opinions. While modifying your gradient the status bar is great! It gives you the taxicab distance between the two nubs (the offset), the point-to-point distance between the two nubs, and the angle between the two nubs. Here are my ideas. For pixel-precision gradients I'd like to see at least one of two things in a future release. The ability to directly modify the values in the status bar, or some kind of snapping. For example, while modifying a linear gradient, you could hold the shift key and your nub would snap to 0 degrees, 45, 90, 135, etc. I'd say 90% of the gradients I do are horizontal or vertical anyway. Thoughts? Rick, feasibility?
