  1.    And so that's what I get for being lazy. Barkbark00 confirmed that the problem was admin rights. I still don't understand why the issue came up, but it is now fixed. (I figured it out by installing it on the other computer and checking its settings.) For castellum, if he ever comes back: 1) Go Start -> Run -> regedit 2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE 3) Right-click and select permissions 4) Add your user (even if the permissions is set to "everyone") (this is where I went wrong) It should now install without error. Have fun with paint.NET!
  2. Nope, WinXP (with SP and all that). So... Any ideas? I've been looking over some of the tutorials and plug-ins and I would love to play with them before fall break is over.
  3. Admin rights should be set to everyone, but even when I tried it on my mom's (owner's) account, it wouldn't work. Any other ideas?
  4. Hm... So I'm not the only one. I got the exact same error message as castellum. I've installed, uninstalled, and re-installed the .NET framework with no success. And I don't really know my way around regedit, but the permissions seem to be set to everyone. I also noticed that after the error, PdN said there was a fatal error and includes (1603). Funny thing is, the app is practically installed. I tried opening PdN when the error message came up, and it actually opened! But when I clicked ok, the green install bar went backward (uninstalling it?), and I couldn't open it anymore.
