I did check tutorials thats why I'm here. It's not in tutorials. The picture you show is not beveling. It's embossed. Thanks for the thought though. 8)

Thank you everyone. I love Paint.net and I plan to make a donation when I get paid at the end of this month. I will be happy though when I can better understand how to use it fully.

I just don't understand how the layers work. I open up an image and I can't seem to divide the pieces of the graphic so that I can change it. Is this even possible? I also don't understand how to create a graphic using the layers. Is there a tutorial on this subject?

I imported an image but I don't know how to adjust the canvus to the image. I went to image resize but I still couldn't get it to match. Therefore my image looked terriable. I need help.
