  1. How would I go about that? I know nothing about program coding.
  2. I made the flames in photoshop, then I took the image into paint.net, put in the raven render I edited in paint.net, then I put a color overlay on it, and made the text, then to put hte blue bar in the center of it i took it back in photoshop, so It was a collaboration of programs, I used smudge in photoshop. I can vaguely recreate it in paint.net, it takes a while, and a bunch of blurring.
  3. Alright, I have asked this before, but I have never gotten a straight answer from rick or tom... Is there any way that we can have an interface so we can define our own custom shortcuts (ie L for lasso, W for wand) so it will make it easier, and make it flow more. Many people here use more than one program, and it can be confusing sometimes switching between the programs with the shortcuts being different. Can you at least consider this?
  4. Dang, My avatar doesnt quite match the color of the signature... I will make a new one later.
  5. thanks, Ill work on an avatar later, I got a bunch of sig requests piling up on other sites.. and wardecke, i think the render your using is too blurred.
  6. yeah, boltbait makes some good plugins, kudos to llnab too, dno if he helped with those, but their gradient is great.
  7. move back and forth from it, it really messes with your eyes
  8. How often do you refer people to paint.net? I refer at least one person a day to it, in other forums and whatnot, a lot of people ask for a good free program, so I send them here.. Other than rick and tom(since you develop the program), How do you help spread paint.net?
  9. it was used here to bust someone, who posted an amazing piece of work, but was actually made in photoshop
  10. corona is alright, but im more of a vodka person instead of a beer person.
  11. nice work. but wouldnt it be les coronas? and if french- it would be las coronas , spanish las coronas....im confused.
  12. There are background fills, check fill style on the bar where brush size is, its to the left. I figured out a way to use other brushes though.. save the image as a PNG and make sure the background is transparent, and move it around on the image..
  13. Here is my attempt at recreating a filter on photoshop.
  14. If you want an easy made sphere, take a white color as your FG, and make a dark blue, or whatever color you want it to be, dark, make a radial gradient inside a circular selection, and bam...an easy sphere.
  15. Maybe put a highlight stroke on and blur it? All I can think about..
  16. If you want an honest opinion, and im not trying to sound mean...Try using some other filters other than distorting...try duplicating the layer, using emboss or find edges, then change blending mode to screen, overlay, or lighten... Theres a bunch of other stuff that can be done, not just distortions. But nice work on the stuff, ive seen some great stuff come out of you guys.
  17. i can see a large company paying that much for a new logo, but not for a simple banner.
  18. I've actually done this tutorial in photoshop, I think it needs a little bit more bluring, your top one could use some blurring, either way it looks nice.
  19. I can see how it was done, but I wouldnt spend that much time on something hehe.... I believe him.
  20. The simplest way I can give you the glitter would be to take what you want to be glittered, IE select it, and then make your colors say pink and white, FG color, the top one being pink, and add noise to it, move the bottom slider down so it goes monochromatic, then after that, maybe add some glow to it. Smudge can be done, but not very easily, the only real automated filter is the gradient tool in 3.0, so we probably won't be getting a tool for that any time soon, you can just take a 1 pixel brush on a new layer, and move it where you want to be smudged, then probably do a motion blur in the angle you want it to smudge, then erase the other parts..
