I'm not Rick (obviously), but let me tell you something. Paint.Net is not ment to compete with anyone or anything. It is ment for people who don't want to spend 600 bucks on Photoshop, or already have Photoshop and want to use something a little more amature for simple projects. And I don't think anything free (except for the donations) will try to compete with Photoshop, but it is still here in case you need it. And it will keep improving itself with every upgrade, so maybe in a few years, it will be as good as Photoshop now (but of course photoshop would have been upgraded too). And I'm sure Rick and the team are doing there best to make it that way :wink: !

make sure it is one of the file types that it says it can take. Also remeber it can't exceed 1.5 megabytes (I think it's that much?). Maybe your picture is too big. Try scaling it down with the Resize Canvas option in the Layers menu. (I think it's that menu. Don't worry, it's there somewhere.)

It's insulting Macintosh, because it's saying that a PC minus Bill Gates equalls a Mac, and then it says at the bottom that without Bill Gates, the computer is nothing. I guess it should say the PC is nothing. Well, if you put it together, It is saying that the Mac is nothing. You are right, it's stupid. Maybe I'll remove it.

Wow, better than I thought possible on Paint.Net! (Though I am a noob, and proud!)

I finally finished my Missle Bliss thingamabob, by adding some motion blurrs and even an explosion! But it still needs work. For some reason the explosion seems like it's on the hill, instead of behind it. I'll do some tweaking. They can be found here: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewt ... =9446#9446. If you made or will make any good parodies, post them there.

Yeah, but I still think that the explosion looks like its coming from on top of the hill, not behind it. I think I'll tweak it up a little later.

Okay, I want to start a little gallery of spoofs of the default background of Windows XP, bliss. (I have nothing against Windows or Microsoft, I love them. It's just that Bliss is so easy to minipulate, that it is fun .) Actually, I haven't even started mine yet, but I have some good ideas. Obviously, you can find Bliss in a Google Image Search, if you don't mind borrowing them from some unknown person. This isn't intended to be a contest, so please, no harsh compitition, let's have good attitudes. P.S., If this turns out well, maybe we can do this agian! P.P.S., Edit: I'm kind of new to Paint.Net, so I don't expect mine to compare well with others. I just thought this is a goo idea! Remeber, this isn't a contest!
