  1. I use codelab...a lot...but I realy don't understand the C+ or whatever it's called that is used to make it.

Could there be a simpler version, where you select a couple of effects and different layer modes etc. to make a working codelab effect or .dll?

This would help me and a lot of other code begginers to make great effects.

    Thanks a lot

  2. I didn't know where to put this so sorry id its in the wrong catagorie

I downloaded one of the 3.0 betas a while ago and am now wanting to go back to 7.5 (or whatever the newest official release is) fo a bit. I tried simply installing 7.5 but it said 'Unable to install because there is a newer version of PDN on your PC'.

So I tried to uninstall the PDN beta, but found that the file C:/Program Files/Paint.net only contained 1 couple of files (a file called 'Staging') and no uninstaller.

So I went into Add/Remove Programs, scrolled down to Paint.NET Beta and clicked Remove. It went through the uninstall process and nearly removed the program, but sudennly a box popped up saying 'FATAL ERROR: PDN WASN'T REMOVED!'

    Does ANYONE have a solution???

    Thanks

  3. Something happened with Paint.NET (I think I deleted it by mistake  ), so I tryed to download it again. When I tried to run the installer it said 'Unable to Install, there is a newer version of pdn on your computer.' I removed every trace of pdn from my pc. However, the installer still says it can't install.

I've been helping out with the pre-alpha, could that be something to do with it?

  4. Whenever I try and add text Paint.NET nearly crashes. When I click the 'A', everything seems OK. I click on the canvas and can change the size, and type with the default font 'Ariel' selected. But when I go and change the text, before the drop down menu apears, everything stops. After about 2 minuets it goes back to normal. I'm trying to make it crash whilst doing these so I can post the crashlog lol  !
