i'm not sure how you guys go with requests, however i'd like to have a feature in paint dot net to downsample images to monochrome. photoshop has a number of options in doing this, however the best software i've found in the past is thumbsplus i saw the black and white option, but this seems to be grayscale and I also noted a couple of posts regarding the saved file format for 32 bit colour support only, however even the original paint program downsampled to 16 or 256 colours... THANKS
